tApart from a nice breakfast buffet and a good price, this hotel was boring. The male receptionist was dismissive and annoyed. The ad never worked and the rooms were uncomfortable. The two young women in reception were very sweet I wouldn't stay there again.. Ever.

The hotel is located centrally in a very quiet area. Little hard to find but only 10 minute easy walk from underground and the major Karl Square. The room was cheerful equipped simply and functionally. The bedding was gorgeous. Bathroom was bright and spotless. And the full buffet breakfast could not be better. The staff was friendly, all smiles and... More

For those that prefer a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle, this could be a great option for Europeans and non-Europeans alike. This has the ambience of a typical European hotel along with all the comforts that many international travelers require, including a full-service restaurant. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, and most of Vienna's attractions... More

Was reasonably priced and located in a quaint area of Vienna just outside the city center. 6 to 7 minutes from subway and Naschmarket. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and a grocery store in a short radius of the hotel. Clean, decent breakfast included and very friendly staff. We would stay there again.

A little challenging to find when you don't read German, but once you're there, you'll be happy you searched it out. Beautiful lobby, restaurant, bar, and garden area. There's a fitness center, business center nook, reading area, and a front desk staff who are extremely helpful no matter what time of day you stop by. Rooms are spacious and clean... More

Very nice cosy place to stay. Warm friendly smiling staff. Cosy rooms with small garden view from window. I like this place and recommend it. Best value for money in centre of Vienna with attractions at walking distance

A first time visitors to Venice we were impressed with this hotel's convenient location and the ambience of the area it is located in. Our room was modern and a god size. I had no difficulty with wifi and service could not be faulted. Would stay again.

2nd time round at this place, still very happy with everything. Location is perfect in the center, close to convenient underground stations but even by foot you can reach many places easily. Rooms are good size and very comfortable, modern decor and quiet. We slep very well...even with the kids in our room. Breakfast buffet has all you want for,... More

Staying in Margareten

Neighborhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
