I stayed the night of February 10th. They upgraded to a nice suite #413...perfect! The hotel is located not too far from the city center. The staff is very friendly and I find this hotel perfect for my expectations. Check my pictures to better understand...

The reception staff at this hotel are the friendliest ever. The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a five minute walk to the train station and buses to the main attractions were two blocks away. There is a very attractive restaurant on site although we did not eat in the hotel. There is an excellent local restaurant... More

I didn't really expect such a good standard of service, cleanliness and food from a Holiday Inn. This must be an exception! Four night stay in this spotlessly clean and well placed hotel. Easy stroll into the city centre...about fifteen minutes, near the metro to get to the Schoenbrunn Palace and near the Nascht market. Reception staff extremely helpful, restaurant... More

Probably one of the best Holiday Inn's out there. Great rooms, very clean and modern, the breakfast buffet is impressive with hot and cold available and a rather civilised serving time normally 7am until 11am.

stayed here for 1 night near christmas.. had a very good experience. The hotel was kind enough to accommodate us with an early check in since our flight landed at 5am.. the gentleman at the reception was very helpful with directions and suggestions. loved the breakfast and the decor- chic & cozy. The location was also very convenient with lots... More

Recently visited Vienna and stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived very early in the morning (around 7 am) and expected to only be able to store our luggage until check-in later that afternoon. We were very happily surprised when the woman told us our room was ready and allowed us to check in early. This was greatly appreciated after... More

We chose to stay here as my husband is a Spire Elite member of the HIG and we know we always have a good stay at Holiday Inns. We were offered a first floor room away from the main hotel building, overlooking the beautiful garden area and nowhere near the road at the front. We felt very welcome as soon... More

I crashed here for one night and had a very pleasant stay and was greeted by a very welcoming girl named Argentina (apologies for incorrect spelling). My check in was smooth and efficient and I was in my room within minutes. Room was in superb condition, and the beds are extremely soft with synthetic pillows and complimentary water from the... This hotel is tucked away but very well located. Rooms are clean and we had a suite which was reasonable sized and cleaned daily. They did not have any decent pillows and that was the only downfall about the room. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable selection and the remainder we ate out. We did have a Christmas Eve... Staying in Margareten

Neighborhood Profile
Margareten
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
