The NH Danube City Hotel on Wagramer Strasse is a high-rise business class hotel on the northern edge of Vienna. It is adjacent to the Vienna International Center (VIC), the site of large United Nations office buildings. For tourists it is reasonably convenient because it is a 5 minute walk to the VIC subway station and then a 12 minute... more

This is a modern, clean hotel by the UN facilities in Vienna. It's outside the city center but very close (5-minute walk) to the U-bahn which gets you into old town after about a 10- to 15-minute subway ride. The rooms are nicely appointed (a classic "business" or diplomat's hotel) and the staff very helpful and international. The food at... more

The hotel room was OK. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled but it seemed like nothing matched. When you walk into the lobby it looks great and consistent with the other NH hotel I have stayed in. The room itself had several different decors going on and left me confused many times. It wasn't horrible...just didnt mesh.... more

Stayed in the Danube City for four nights with a colleague in April. Very friendly staff at check in, rooms ample size, excellent facilities in rooms, beds very comfy after a day at congress. In House-Cleaning service was great too. Though we were only there for the congress the hotel is a good 10/15 minute taxi drive to city centre... more

I stayed here for only 2 noghts since I had to be at the UN, for which the location is good. I would not recommend it for holidays. Clean room, good beds. Long lines to check in and out, with ony one person behind the reception... (so you ar really unlucky if you come in behind a flight crew..) Very... more

Location: If you have business at the UN, the NH Danube and the Park are the convenient options. Both are adjacent to the UN complex, with a five minute walk to the subway. Rooms: Large, clean, well appointed rooms. Nicely designed furniture, up to date electronics, exceptionally comfortable bed. A shade above expectations for a three star. Staff: Exceptionally helpful... more

This is definitely a 3 star hotel and it is quite acceptable for a three star. The location is not great, unless you don't mind spending up to a half hour taking the subway - a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant served very good food. The charge for in room internet use was outrageous but the staff... more

We stayed at the NH Danube City Hotel in Vienna and loved our room. Altough we were on vacation, this hotel is set up as a business hotel and is not in the main part of the city. However, we easily obtained transportation on the U-Bahn, which was only a 10 minute trip to the historic district of Vienna. It... more

I stayed at the NH Danube City for two nights on business. It is in a dormitory are of Vienna, not at all walking distance to the old city centre, but is convenient if you have business in the UN building or Vienna convention centre. The hotel itself is a 20 storey tower that backs onto the Donauparc and faces... more

This is a overpriced hotel convenient to the UN buildings in Danube City. For a business HOTEL to charge for Internet (no free Wifi) and have a ridiculously overpriced buffet breakfast (18Eur) I was very disappointed. The coffee for the buffet was not very good either.....and I need good coffee. I highly recommend their competitor across the street, Park Inn,... more
