My mate and I stayed here in June, 2009. I loved everything about this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was awesome - one of the best we've had anywhere. The location is great also. I don't know if you can go wrong in Vienna. more

This hotel is located next to the Karlsplatz train stration, which is only about a 5 min walk away. The area is sorrounded by Chinese, Japanese and wine bars. The staff Doris and a blonde haired lady were very nice to tell us where to go and dine and sights to see. We arrived there at 7:30am and was told... more

Really, really good experience here. Outstanding location near Naschmarket. Very quiet at night, but 2 minutes to Underground and 15 minutes to Stephenplatz. Breakfast excellent . . . wide variety, very fresh food, eggs cooked to order, and courteous staff. Entire staff very polite, friendly, and made you feel they were happy to have you there. We stayed in their... more

Clean and Comfortable. We stayed for a total of 4 nights in March. Wonderful breakfast with a neat coffee maker with varied coffees, made to order eggs plus the usual breakfast items. Rooms had recently been renovated and were well appointed. Too bad they allow smoking in the common areas(not the breakfast room thankfully) more

The hotel is located within walking distance of the main museum area and the Naschmarkt (market with many small food shops and snack restaurants). The hotel was clean and there is a good selectiion of food for breakfast. Also, you can get tea for free from a hot-water urn on the mezzanine level. However, the has smoking and non-smoking rooms... more

Two friends and I stayed here for one night on an all too brief stop in Vienna on our way from Salzburg to Budapest. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely, the room was a good size and clean. The bathroom was superclean with nice fluffy towels. The included breakfast was nice, and the staff were all very... more

Five of us stayed at this wonderful little hotel in October for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We arrived early but our rooms were ready before noon and we were able to start exploring the city with Marianne, the manager's able assistance. The rooms were spotless and well appointed. The breakfast was... more

My hubby and I stayed at this hotel in October 2008 for 6 nights. I am not the kind of person who requires luxury when travelling, but I do admit that I am a bit picky when it comes to selecting a hotel: I need up-to-date furnishings, spotless bathroom (I do not tolerate molds whatsoever), spotless walls, comfortable bed, and... more

Stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Nice hotel. Old Vienna buliding. Tucked up a side street off main road. Very small bar area. Breakfast excellent. Hotel very clean and tidy. Very reasonably priced. Less than 10 minutes walk to Opera House and main shopping area. 20 minutes to Rathaus area. Recommend to tourists wanting to be close... more

I was concerned when I read the previous review but no need! This hotel was lovely with good furnishings, very clean, excellent breakfast selection, and all the staff we encountered we extremely helpful. The location is ideal. We walked to the main sites in minutes and only took public transport to visit Schonbrunn (very easy to get to). There were... more
