This hotel was in an excellent location with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were large and very clean. The staff was most helpful and very knowledgeable. There was no air conditioning but we were there in September so we just opened a window onto the courtyard and was very comfortable. more

I booked my dad and sister into this hotel as it is 2 minutes walk from my house so on a personal level I cant quibble with the location. They paid about €740 for 8 nights for a twin room. To be honest, you can get much better for your money in Vienna. They room was small and strangley appointed.... more

Very good location close to the center . Large and clean rooms , perfect for rest after a city sightseeing. The breakfast is complete and fresh. The only problem is that the car parking is too small. Anyway, a good choice and value for money. more

Friendly staff. Very nice room. Breakfast very good but could use a hot buffet. Just a throw from Schottentor and right beside the D-tram which takes you to the centre of the city within minutes. more

We stayed here just three nights, and we didn't want to spend too much time in the room. First, because it's Vienna and you want to be outside. Second, because the bathroom had an unpleasant odor from the toilet that would not cease. The hotel is a renovated older building, so that's probably a source of the issue. The room... more

I do not know how an independent traveler could have hard time finding this hotel! It is a 50 meter walk off the "D" tram. The hotel is a short walk from the Liechtenstein Museum, and that provides a handy landmark for finding it the first time. We came into Vienna at the Westerbanhof and sprung the 11 euro for... more

The afternoon front desk person was rude and not helpful. Don't expect a lot of help with directions / attractions, etc. No A/C in room. Hotel location was tough to find. Recommend spending a bit more for a mainstream hotel closer to the circle. more

This hotel is a well kept old small hotel. The front desk is okay, not overly helpful. The rooms are very clean and well kept but very small. The width of my room was the width of two single beds. Only 3 hangers in the closet and a 13" TV. The bathroom seemed almost as large as the room. I... more

If you are planning a few days in Vienna and dont want to break the bank, then I can recommend Hotel Harmonie. Based a stone's throw from Sigmund Freud's house, it is about 15 minutes walk to the centre of town and based in a quiet setting in a pleasant central neighbourhood. It is on a very frequent bus route... more

Well, I never though that it is possible to write something bad about Vienna; but I have been to Harmonie Hotel (Best Western?!) and now I do. Last year I have been in IM Forum Muelheim (Best Western also) and it was super OK everything. In Harmonie Hotel everything was bad; breakfast remind me of the Romanian two star hotels... more
