This boutique hotel was just perfect for a romantic stay in Vienna. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street. That means when the door is open you hear the city noise, but that did not bother us. There was no air-conditioning, which could have been an issue, but the fan sufficed. The included breakfast was excellent, too. We enjoyed... More

This hotel is located perfectly in Vienna, within walking distance of most Vienna attractions (except the Schonbrunn palace, which is a short metro ride). Many delicious restaurants to choose from also within walking distance. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending sites, shops, restaurants. Rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was included and had a... More

The hotel is a short walk from either the museums quartier or Karlsplatz station and is a stones throw from the opera house and some of the best buildings in Vienna. Because it is on the main opernring road it can get a bit noisy from traffic and if it's hot you will have the window open as there is... More

Very well located hotel, clean, nice rooms, nice breakfast, but to avoid during summer time as there is no air-condition in the room which was a must for us at 34° in Vienna. As the hotel is located on a traffic-heavy road, no way to sleep with open windows. Definitively a place to stay in spring and autumn.

A great hotel near the Opera House in Vienna, with a U-bahn station within a 5mins walk and tram stops. The museum quarter is at the end of Opernring and all other sights of Vienna are very close by. The room was of a good size with enough room not to feel hemmed in. Tea/coffee facilities, mini fridge, safe and... More

We stayed for four nights at the beginning of July. The hotel is in a great location across the road from the Opera House. Karlsplatz underground station is only two minutes walk away and there is a tram stop even closer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample with a large choice of ham, cheese, cereals, pastries,... More

t's all about location location location! Opposite the Opera, in the famous Ring road. Few steps from all: culture, main attractions, old town and shopping. Few steps from tram/bus/subway station. Also Pandorf outlet bus stop is just opposite the Opera. Spacious rooms, a bit old though. Nice bathroom. Average breakfast. No a/c, but fan was effective. Would defenetly stay this... More

This hotel is a few minutes walk from the underground station and well-placed for all the main sights in Vienna. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good - lots of delicious food which set us up for the day. The room was in need of a redecoration but it was clean and well-appointed

Great hotel in a great location. Two mins walk to the Opera House and 8ish to the centre. Behind the hotel a short walk brings you to the markets where the food is really good and full of locals. Only criticism is they need a toaster in the breakfast room and some fresh fruit.

Actually chose Hotel Opernring using google maps due to it's great location, which without doubt would have to be the best value-for-money hotel in Wien - so close to the Vienna State Opera House. Front Office Manager was charming and extremely knowledgable - went out of his way to ensure my 76yo mother had the best room in the house,... More
