Customer Service is fundamental and I felt this was lacking. I'd ordered a bowl of fruit for my arrival. I wasn't there so I politely mentioned this to reception on my way out that evening - and they apologised; said they would provide it on the next day and deduct it from my bill for the inconvenience. It didn't turn... More

Hotel Das Tigra in Tiefrer Graben is located just a short walk from Graben and Stephansdom in the very Heart og Vienne. The steet is a bit dull, but just around the corner Vienna opens up in all its glory. The room was excellent, spacy, well furnitured with a sofa and two very good beds. Breakfast with all you need... We stayed here for two nights the week before Christmas, mainly to enjoy the Christmas markets and soak up the atmosphere in Vienna. The hotel is in a quiet side street, just minutes away from the Am Hof and other Christmas markets. It's a great location, within easy walking distance of everywhere you would want to go. The room was... More

Had fab 5 days in Vienna Dec 2015. Best friends 60 birthday ( Austrian Airways did us proud with free " champagne"). Would recommend short break in this lovely city. The hotel is quite confortable. There were big enough rooms, tv, some armchairs, a bathroom, big beds... It is near the centre of the sity, infact I visited the city on foot. In the evening I used to go for a walk in a charming street full of fashionable shops. Unluckly our room wasn't clean enough, there were a lot... More

We stayed in this hotel prior to leaving for a River Cruise. The hotel was perfect for visiting the Christmas Markets and the city center. We could walk to many markets and had no problems at all. The rooms and breakfast were very nice. Our room was on the side of the street but we arrived on a Sunday and... More

The location is almost perfect, very close to all basic sights. The rooms are very spacious (we booked the comfort) and the breakfast buffet is more than sufficient. The staff was OK. Not very friendly, not hostile. Typical middle European attitude. I suggest this place. Maybe a minor issue is the lack of ventilation is the bathroom.

We had spent several holidays at The Tigra and were pleased to return on an Expedia break. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to transport and the main sites are within walking distance, as are bars and restaurants. Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
