This Hotel has good room with very nice antique furnishings & paintings. Good spread of breakfast & the Locations is not bad as its Walking distance to the Shops, Restaurants & the Stephanson Dom. The downside is the receptionist was not very nice but the other staff was really nice. We ordered a taxi & the Manager drove us to... More

I arrived late on Friday after week of meetings in Geneva. There was a problem with the electrical system and they had arranged for a room for me at another hotel across the street for that night and then gave me an upgraded room for the rest of the weekend. The breakfast buffet was great. While the hotel is small... More

Indeed it’s not a hotel, it’s more like 2 floors of an old building that’s turned into a so called hotel. Reception is on 2nd floor you need to use the common lift and a entrance door have a small banner with the hotel name. 3rd floor is basically with rooms only. Room was small with a tiny bathroom; beddings... More

After an awful start in Vienna when we arrived late at night to find another hotel had given away our room booked for 6 nights despite having been paid in full in advance we booked this hotel on line via a laptop at a time when over 20,000 delegates had descended on the city for a conference. Arriving after another... More

We stayed in room 8, next to the breakfastroom for 2 nights. Perfect stay! No noise from the stubenring and other guests having breakfast. Big room, very classical. And the breakfast was very diverse! Loved it!

We had room 15 in this old apartment block, with the hotel on the 2nd and 3rd floor (there are lifts) it was a corner room with windows facing down both streets, really well presented with seperate hall, nice comfortable beds and a great seating area, the staff were very helpful and even tolerated my rusty German. Breakfast was good with... More

The hotel is really good located. 15 min away from the center. Tram No.2 will get you to the opera for less then 10 min. From the Schwedenplatz subway station you'll get to Schönbrünn for less then 15 min. The pension is fully wheelchair friendly, the room has average size but its fully equipped. I had a wonderful time in... More

We visited this hotel for four nights, one of them being New Year's Eve, obviously a busy time in Vienna. We booked a 'standard two person' room via booking.com, and were very surprised to find out we were put in a mini-room. It had one normal built-in bed (although very short) and an uncomfortable fold-out bed at the other side... More

Hotel is situated in private building on 2nd and 3rd floor. Reception in 2nd and my room was on 3rd floor. You need to enter in apartment door with luggage to reach reception and than same to get in the hall where is the rooms. Other people having private apartments for living on the same floor.

This hotel is the worst place where you can stay. AVOID IT!!!!! MY BAG WAS STOLEN from the room and the receptionist did not even apologise or give me any feedback on what to do. She didn't even know proper english. Terrible. They just said that the manager was unavaliable and to write down what happened. They also said that... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
