Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel in May during May holidays in Russia. I would say, it is a very nice place to stay in Vienna, with acceptable price and perfect location as well. Also, the owner Christopher was very friendly and helpful, he showed us many interesting places to visit in Vienna. One moment: the shower was... More

Design and light of the room made it very comfortable to crash. very close to Kettenbruckengasse station (U4 of U Bahn) and Nacht Market. There is a small kitchen, so you can buy some foods and wine at Nachmarket and eat at the apartment. However it was a little bit difficult to check in. There is nobody standby in the... More

These apartments are located within easy walking distance of not one, but two metro stops. It's blocks away from Naschmarkt and near several restaurants and cafes. I made my reservation several months in advance and was met at the reception area by the owner's wife. She was very friendly and helpful and I felt very welcome. I stayed in apt... More

I loved my stay in Vienna. The location of the apartment is great. Quite and pleasant street. Very convenient to Wien Miedling train station (U4/U6). Lovely area outside the tourist ring but close enough to walk almost everywhere in the center. Very close to the naschmarkt, supermarkets, coffees... The apartment is small but comfortable and has almost everything.. a micro... More

It was our first time in Vienna and the city did not disappoint. I can't say the same for this hotel. I first want to mention the hotel was clean and about a 15 minute walk to the opera house, so for the price I would definitely stay here again. However, after doing our research we were upset to find... More

This small apartment locates in the ground floor of a local residence. It looks very small from outside. So, it’s a surprise to find that it’s so well equipped inside – a small kitchen with all what you need, and a small rest corner beside the window. Location is good, around 5 min walk from metro station Ketenbruckengasse and 10... More

As per my previous reviews, i am a huge fan of self catering apartments. This was a bargain! Very well located, in between 2 underground stations, and less than 10 minutes from one of europe's oldest markets. Small room but comfortable and well decorated. And the best, all this for 58 euros oer night! Ridiculously cheap for what it is.... More

I stayed in Wanz Inn Design Apartment in May 2011. Its a one room apartment with a small kitchenette. If I say the room is beautifully designed, its an understatement. Its probably the best designed apartment, I have ever stayed in Europe. Contemporary in style, well equipped. Dont expect too much space, it became a bit congested when we opened... More

My husband and I stayed there over the weekend. The price was great and location was excellent - it was in a residential area close to Naschmarkt. We had breakfast and dinner there! We walked to most of the places. The apartment had everything except soaps and shampoos. The owner was very nice and gave us a useful map. We... More

Staying in Margareten

Neighborhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
