building looks like from the 80´s, but staff was very nice, rich breakfast buffet and the main plus - great location, directly in the center, few steps from the Mariahilfe Strasse and train station Westbahnhoff more

Just outside the ring. Good typical super budget choice-helpful staff. Room was clean and plain Ibis but ok. The great thing was the restaurant Franceschi up the block outside the back door of the hotel-it was great---very reasonable with authentic Vienna dishes and a fun host-we ate there both nights for our 2 night stay. 1060 Wein Aegidigasse 15--ask the... more

I stayed at the Ibis to attend a conference at the Messe Wien. As a result, the price was extortionate – EUR89 for a single, EUR113 double, but have read it’s normally much more economical than this. The hotel is about ½ hour’s taxi ride from the airport, and cost EUR40 in taxi fare. It is possible to get there... more

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the past decade. However, the last time I stayed there the area had become markedly seedier. There were warnings placed all over the lobby to tell guests about possible pick pockets and petty theft. Saw seedy individuals in the lobby, and they were also stationed on the side of the... more

This hotel has great access to public transportation right into Vienna's heart. It is located in a quiet suburb with some great shops in the vicinity. My wife had an evening gown made at a corner shop at a fantastic rate. The hotel is one of the best we have seen from Ibis and is defenitely worth its money. more

The service was incredible - pleasant, courteous, very fast and very helpful. We had noisy neighbours in the middle of the night, but I rang the front desk and not only did staff come upstairs immediately to ask them to be quiet, staff also apologised on their behalf and offered us to move rooms immediately. They were great about giving... more

Overall this hotel is great value for money. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an entire coach party checking in in the lobby. They were all processed in about 10 minutes. The rooms are a fair size, a big double bed and a new shower room, which was a bit on the small size. Beware tho, the aircon operates from... more

The location is great. Just 8 to 10 mins walk from Westbanholf station or only 1 tram stop (#6 and 18) if you prefer not to walk. The tram stops right at the front of the hotel. The size of the room is decent although the washroom with shower is kind of small. It is very clean and the bed... more

This hotel was nice. My friend and I did not have anywhere to stay in Vienna and randomly found Hotel Ibis while walking around the main train station for a place to stay. It was a little expensive for what we got, but I think this was due to waiting till the last minute to find somewhere to stay. The... more
