We stayed here for a first time and was given a room facing courtyard, then on the second time we were given a room facing street. Even though the street facing room was a bit noisy but we liked it more as compared to the first one because of the view and liveliness of the city. We have stayed at... More

The hotel is a relatively standard IBIS with a bar, restaturant and breakfast area. It is situated in an office block with the first few levels being clad in glass windows. Reception is accessible from the street using a staircase or via a lift (elevator). The room was clean with a comfortable bed, desk, tv and adequate number of power... More

The hotel is near the Pratestern station, where is an intersection of the U1 metro line and the S7 train to airport. The U1 line also goes to the Vienna main railwai station. Another great advantage of the hotel is quiet location, which is a quite rare attribute for hotels in Vienna.

This hotel was easy to reach, close to Metro and, close to the Center. Even a good pizzeria nearby. The rooms are clean, large enough, and very good beds. Breakfast is perfect, with fresh fruites and funny sausages. Beer at the bar was very tasty as well and, always welcome, good and friendly service.

Hotel is located near central railway station, some 5 min walk, Prater is about same distance and metro is few minutes away so you can reach easily any part of Vienna from here. I have stayed in this hotel for five nights, price was euro 59 plus 11 euros for breakfast - basic but very good. Hotel is very clean... More

I stayed two nights at the hotel which is very nice located, close to U-bahn stations and very convenient for wherever you want to go. I have stayed at Accor hotels before but Ibis is pretty basic (next to this one is Ibis budget!), with decent breakfast. As in all Accor hotels just two english tv channels, both news. The... More

This hotel is located near the main road about half-way between the Vorgantenstrasse and Praterstern U-bahn stations, but closer to the former. This makes moving around easier. We stayed twice in this hotel in a space of a week, each for a one-night stay. Ibis-standard is visible in the room setting. There are two chairs to serve the desk that... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
