The hotel is in a few min to metro station, very nice location. You can go directly from there to airport. Kind stuff, clean rooms, but hadn't had the fridge and hair-drier was broken. Wi-fi was working well and breakfast delicious. And like a bonus there was very nice park near.

I have stayed in Ibis hotels several times before and been very happy. This Ibis seems to be used by tour groups a lot so the breakfast room can get very busy and crowded. There is a Novotel Suites round the corner and I would stay there next time. Location is away from the main tourist area (but good for... More

Just off central hotel near to the metro system for the central tourist places. Medium sized twin room, very clean with modern facilities. Good continental breakfast selection of hot and cold foods;cereal, breads, cheeses and hams.

The hotel is a few minutes walk to the metro station and there is an amusement park near the hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast is good. The town is only a few minutes away by metro.

Except for an incident with both elevators being broken, the rest was ok. But climbing 5 floors several times it was not fun. Garage is a plus. I had a 40% discount as a Silver status member of Accorhotels, so it was a cheap room. However, only 1 tower per person seemed insufficient for a good hotel

We arrived at the hotel after a long journey. And almost everything was a disappointment. The room was small with no basic amenities - No kettle, no minibar, no iron and no dustbin in the room. We had booked a king size bed, but got only a smaller one. Another disappointment - no room service. We went down to try... More

We were in Ibis Wien Messe in Vienna for 3 days in June. It was both cute and affordable. The rooms are small, but very clean. The best part was that it had air conditioner because Vienna was very hot (92F).

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
