Let my just point few: PROS: - Very nice hotel grounds, you can feel like in the palace. From the photos it will look like truly 5* exclusive palace hotel (but only from the photos) - Staff was very pleasant and helpfull - We had quite a view from our room - Price is relatively low for such hotel -... I wrote this last summer but have discovered I did not post it on their main web site, so am resubmitting it. Every summer, we stay at this hotel for two weeks and we get such an amazing welcome from the very friendly staff that it is almost like coming home and hence the title! The Schloss is the equivalent... More

We checked into the Austria Trend Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg Wien Mid December. When we looked at the hotel provided pictures, we were fascinated by the nice pictures and the wonderful views of Vienna from the hotel. We got a "great deal" but we learned fast that you get what you pay for. If you'll arrive in the late afternoon in... More

I would recommend coming here for a nice one or two day stay with your loved one. You got this Amazing view of vienna and wineyards just next to the hotel. The local wine is even quite good. The price you pay in general here is very low compared to what you get. But it is a bit out of... More

You don't need to pay $500 a day to stay at a fancy hotel in order to give it 5 star rating. The value and services you get for the good rate you pay can earn 5 star rating as well. And Austria Trend Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg earns my 5 stars. The two main advantages staying at this hotel is... More

Had a very good night in this hotel! Very nice building (Schloss) at the outside as well as inside. Friendly staff, good bed and complete breakfast buffet. Unfortunately no bar after 2300pm, however they served us a beer in the lobby.

My husband and I stayed here in July of 2014 and enjoyed our stay. The hotel had wonderful views of Vienna and large grassy areas to sit and have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The hotel has lots of history and it is a great place to stay. Bus right out front of hotel will take you... More

The hotel is an old palace located in beautiful place 30 minuets drive from Vienna city center and about 50 minuets from the Vienna International airport. at the first impression I thought it is an old hotel without proper maintenance, as the lobby area and the entrance needs a lot of improvements. but as soon as I went to the... This hotel is a treasure. There is not many places, where you can sleep in a real palace. The first impression from outsides is maybe not the best, since the front of the house needs to be repainted. But as soon as you step into it, you get the wow feeling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed... More

We looked for a location not far from Vienna City to have a workshop out of office and found Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg. The hotel is in the 16. district of Vienna, on the hills, 20 min far away from Schönbrunn or from the Ring Street and it is surrounded by a park comprising 120,000 m² of woods, the views over... Staying in Ottakring

Neighborhood Profile
Ottakring
The production site of popular Ottakringer beer brews up an exciting mix of working and middle class suburbs, Balkanese immigrant lifestyles, and lush patches of hilly woodland. The recently gentrified area around Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt boasts hip cafés and bars next to South East European delicacies at Brunnenmarkt street market. The dynamics of Ottakring become most apparent at its vibrant high street Ottakringer Strasse. At the top end you can feast on wine and local food in Austria’s oldest wine tavern 10er Marie. The wines are from the tavern’s own urban vineyards. Before you head upwards, make sure you pay a visit to the historic courtyards between Lerchenfelder Gürtel and Hippgasse. When locals visit Ottakring’s hilly green outskirts on the weekends they either climb up 31 meters of Jubiläumswarte viewing tower on Gallitzinberg, have a succulent Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Aurora, or reward their hiking exertions around Wilhelminenberg with a drink and a view from Wilhelminenberg Palace (now a hotel and restaurant).
