My wife and I frequently travel to Vienna and we always stayed in our favor hotel. This time our former hotel was fully booked so we decided to try Amadeus. It will be our numer 1 hotel in Vienna from now on.

Small, but well kept and comfortable, very clean and central located. Room was very clean, large enough and sound proof. Good and rich breakfast (the breakfast lady is really nice and helpful). Professional staff.

We stayed here as part of a work visit to Vienna and I would stay there again. The street noise is an issue and the room was very small but these factors were outweighed by the convenient location.Room was clean, breakfast excellent and staff was helpful. Walking distance to everything.

This is nice, small and pleasant hotel. I had sgl room which was tiny, room was sweet but I felt there like in Hobbit's hole;) So if you are planning to stay in sgl room please reconsider your choice. Bathroom was tiny as well, I have almost stucked in the shower, it is still funny for me. But I need... More

Just completed two nights at this hotel and to be honest I couldnt wait to get home to get proper sleep. The room and hotel was clean but I could not stand thin duvet and noise on the street in the morning. Even though I was on sixht floor. Breakfast was very tasty though.

7 of us spent the night at the hotel and all of us loved it. The hotel is quaint and cozy, right in the heart of the historical part of the city. The staff were very helpful, the rooms and hotel were very very clean, the beds were comfortable...it was wonderful! Will definitely be staying there again!

If you are looking for a few days' accommodation in a centrally-located hotel in the heart of the Innere Stadt, you really can't do better than Hotel Amadeus. It's just round the corner from Stephansplatz and the cathedral and within easy walking distance of the architectural splendours of the Habsburgs, such as the Hofburg and Wiener Staats Oper. Also, the... More

We were 9 friends staying at Hotel Amadeus in Wien and all of us had a very good experience. The hotel is located in the old historical part of Wien, right around the corner from Stephanskirche and all the nice restaurants, bars and classical Wiener cafees. The breakfast here is special, and served in a very friendly atmosphere, and it... More

I just completed a 10-day stay at Hotel Amadeus in Vienna. On a quiet street near Stephendom; very friendly and helpful staff; huge breakfasts that catered to all nationalities. My room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable and the all-cotton, ironed linens were wonderful!

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
