Stopped by Vienna from Budapest for 2-3 days during Easter holidays and book this hotel just 1 day in advance, and found it due to its close distance to city center. Turned out I made right choice, just few minutes walk to city center train station, and it was quite at night. Room is warm and cozy, not very big,... More

While we weren't too impressed with the grandeur of the surrounding shopping streets, my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were nice, clean, and fairly big. Bathroom was good, breakfast standard (nothing special). I do think we over payed - but it was high season.

I will simply list everything that we licked about the hotel, because there were so many positive elements: The room was spacious, with a lot of natural light, wonderful electrical blinds, furniture and carpets without any damages, a large bathroom with full amenities, great water pressure, closets with sufficient space, hangers etc. Wonderful selection of colors, a very rich red... Dear most valued guest! Thanks so much for your excellent rating on booking.com. We are so glad to hear how much you have liked the Amadeus. Permit us to add two small remarks: Since most of our guests on weekdays are business guests and very often share room as two single individuals, we need to be flexible, which is why... More

I booked this hotel at very short notice and would not have chosen it for its style (somewhat old world/Romantic). The room decor was a little dated for my taste but that was irrelevant in light of how good the place is overall. A comfortable room with everything needed. The staff could not be nicer.

It is just 5 minutes from the centre with metro station and the Stephansdom. And yet, the price is attractively low for this location. This is a boutique hotel, but one should survive it, being just in the centre of Vienna. Breakfast offering is not perfectly wide, but still acceptable as well

I would like to start by saying that I am a complicated traveller, a complicated guest. But this hotel was simply perfect to me. 1) The staff was very nice, very professional and very polite. They were friendly, helpful and always smiling. 2) The equipment was very modern. 3) The metro was 5 minutes walk. 4) Internet in the rooms... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be a very welcoming and friendly hotel, close to the centre of the city and within easy walking distance of the main attractions and transport links. We drove to Vienna and took the advice on the hotel website about using the park and ride. This is easy and convenient, and... More

Don't be put off by the sadly ugly 1970's facade. Inside this is a charming, tasteful, sweet hotel. The location couldn't be better, on a quiet street three minutes from the cathedral. My room was tiny but still comfortable and well appointed. I had been warned that I was in very small single, so I presume most rooms are much... More

This place is located on a quiet street in central Vienna, close to the main attractions of the city as well as restaurants and shopping streets. Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
