Overall, our 3 nights stay at this hotel was very pleasant, I would definitely recommend it. The location is excellent, with metro & tram and lots of shops on your doorstep, and you can also walk to the Old Town in about 45 mins. The street is really noisy but our room had high quality windows so we slept very... More

Just returned from a trip to Vienna with 3 friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Hotel was in an are with loads of shops, near the very efficient U3 underground and a fabulous Thai restaurant just round the corner from the hotel. I booked two separate Exec rooms as they said single beds rather than doubles. As part of that... More

I stayed here in February 2015 and am returning on May 2015. I thought the location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good, but also very continental. It was hard to get a decent cup of tea!

Simple - but comfort, spacious enough and very clean. The location is excellent in a quiet street three minute walk from an underground station in Mariahilfstrasse. There is also a supermarket on the way to the station. Free and excellent wifi in the rooms. Great breakfast buffet for 10 Euros. In my view- all one needs for a pleasant stay.... More

The hotel is very well located close to Mariahilfstrasse and the underground station but yet in a very quiet street. Very comfortable room, with all the necessary amenities from a business stay. Service was good and helpful. Unfortunately however, breakfast is not included in the price but it can be managed and solved by going for a quick breakfast in... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
