We stayed there for five days. It is located in prime location, walking distance to major museums and with easy access to public transportation. The breakfast in the morning was superb with plenty of choices and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a great location. That's probably the best thing about it. We stayed in a junior suite: a room with two floors, where the bedroom is upstairs. It is nice and quiet even though it's at a very busy street, but our room was at the back of the building, so that probably helped. As in most hotels... More

We booked for 4 nights and was given an upgrade to the executive floor. The room was large with a big bathroom. Despite our room was facing the srteet and heavy traffic outside, it was surprisingly quiet. Great selection of breakfast and staff were polite and professional. Our wifi was fine and we were happy to have a different password... More

Stayed here for a week last year. Didn't realise until we got there that we had booked a suite. Which was huge, a little bit of luxury. The hotel itself is very nice and in imperial scale like the rest of Vienna. Staff all spoke english and were friendly and helpful. Excellent location, with u bahn and trams on the... More

Really comfortable hotel with large rooms. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended if staying in Vienna. The rooms had an old fashioned charm about them but with all of the modern appliances required for a comfortable stay. Bed was massive

This hotel is the perfect base for a visit to Vienna. It's location is ideal and we were able to walk to many of the main tourist attractions and public transport is just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was amazing for both its choice and quality. Our... More

The hotel is one which in its day was possibly a grand 5 star hotel once but has allowed itself to morph into a good 3 star. Nothing wrong with that as room rates reflect this at around €120 night which is what u would expect for city centre hotel of this standard The rooms are spacious with high ceilings.... More

I found this hotel to be at the lower end of 5 star hotels. But we had a very good deal on the price so I feel it was worth it. The room was spacious, very clean, nice bathroom. The restaurant was a bit pricey for dinner as well as the buffet breakfast which was not included in our rate.... More

In a scale of ten I'd give it eleven! Though not a clearly 5 star hotel - I was not too happy with the blind window and the noise insulation of the room, I have nothing but good words to say! The spot is a 10- 40 minutes walk from almost all sightseings within the 'ring' and if you are... More

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
