Good location near old town and sightseeing bus-routes. Effusive welcome, in fact we felt a bit overwhelmed by the quantity of information we were given! Rooms were fine - we had one standard double room and one upgrade which we paid a small supplement for and was good value. We received good recommendations for local places to eat. The only... More

This hotel is very spacious , nice antique furniture pieces around the lobby , beautiful decorations , excellent housekiping service and an attentive restaurant staff . With the exception of the rude and unfriendly front desk staff ( not with us ) but during our waiting for the taxi we saw how they was treating guests in two different occasions... More

Excellent location for access to underground, trams and airport connections. Very helpful staff and good breakfast. Good sized comfortable room. Perhaps not quite 5 star but excellent value. Drinks in hotel not as expensive as other reviews might suggest

This is a 5 star hotel located by the Old Quarter of Vienna. The location is perfect with the Museum quarter, high end shops, bars, restaurants, Imperial Palace all within easy walking distance. There is also a tram station in the immediate area. The room was nice but we felt that a bigger storage space/wardrobe and a flat screen television would... More

If you are looking for a 5* hotel go elsewhere! I check in with my wife on 17/9 for two nights booked through Booking.com The receptionist was a trainee who didn t have a clue on how to do it( she will be better off looking for another career!). Eventually we managed to sort things out with the help of... More

We paid for a standard room and as it wasn't available when we arrived, we were given a suite which was almost as large as our house. In every room there are umbrellas that you can take out when it rains. It was great, because we were there during the Christmas Market and it was raining. Visiting the Christmas Market... More

Luxurious hotel right next to the transportation cetre "Schottentor". Many metros, tramways and busses depart from here. Also next to the university building and only 5 minutts walk from the City Hall. The rooms are very good too.

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
