Wonderful central location in the heart of everything. Hotel is a typical weak 4 star. Avg breakfast. Small rooms, even after upgrading. AC not adequate. Phone not working. One of two elevators not working. Not enough towels...sadly sort of as expected at this price point. No surprises.

Stayed in Mercure Zentrum in Vienna. The rooms were nice and the service was amazing. Since I chose the room package only, I am unable to comment on the F&B. But there were loads of cafes, pubs and restuarants in the vicinity. The underground station is only 5 mins walk from the hotel.

The Mercure Hotel in the Fleischmarkt is in a good location for walking to all parts of the city and for transport back if tired.
