Excellent location, charming and friendly staff who make you feel at home right away. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The homemade granola must be tried. It was very hot, and my room had no air conditioning, but there was a fan which helped. Bathrooms modern and large.... More

Great stay but room was hot. There was no air con. Fantastic location. Would definitely return in cooler weather. No iron in room (standard exec). Staff were friendly and check in and check out very quick. Our room didn't include breakfast. In hindsight we should have just included breakfast because we wasted time in the morning looking for breakfast places... More

So the location is great right off the Main Street! A taxi stand is right there and a great little breakfast is literally a few doors down. Good wifi, water pressure, beds were ok, and free luggage storage! The hotels breakfast is pricey and ok...but I don't think it's worth the money. Also the street address is not correct!!! So... One of the best surprise on my trip to Vienna! First of all, the location is great, at the heart of the city centre, in one of the most popular & charming pedestrian avenues of Vienna. It is extremely convenient to visit the city from there, or simply to take a stroll at night after a long day. As for... More

The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre which makes it very easy to get on foot to the famous sightseeings (state opera, St. Stephan's cathedral etc.) as well as shopping malls . The rooms, designed in classical 19th century style are really cozy. The staff is very friendly and addresses all the questions you might have... More

Great location. The hotel is an easy stroll from a subway station. The hotel itself is on a bustling long street full of shops, restaurants, and easy walking distance to St. Stephen's cathedral. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but a little bit dated. The hotel was rather pricey, so we were surprised that the rooms did not have AC.... More

We visted Vienna for couple of days, the hotel location was perfect close to the Kärtner str., all attractions are within walking distance, shopping The staff were friendly, breakfast was ok, rooms were bit dated and have no AC at all, only a small desk fan which wasn't enough as it was 35 degrees in Vienna. Note: I asked the... More

The hotel locates at the heart of Vienna, with walking distance to a lot of attractions. At night, you can hear the music in the room. The room is clean, the bath room is huge. Very nice hotel. The wifi is a little slow.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
