Very nice room as we had an upgrade to a junior suite, lots of room and comfortable once we'd cooled it down. Breakfast was nice out in the courtyard, plenty of fresh fruit and meats to choose from. Ideally placed for the city centre so would happily stay here again.

We had an awesome 5-night stay in Das Triest. Its a very nice hotel, service, location, breakfast, everything was top notch. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, every single person was kind. Upon the arrival we were surprised to get a room upgrade, we got a Junior Suite instead of Deluxe Room, which is twice and suited our family... More

Great hotel, lovely rooms, friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast buffet and dinner service. It is located 400 yards from the Opera house, opposite a grocery store and pharmacy and around the corner from the Nightmarket where there is a huge selection of restaurants with cuisine from around the world. We stayed in the garden suite which had a... More

This design hotel is actually quite well done, it is close to Karlsplatz, the Secession building and the Ringstrasse. The city center is within walking distance. The hotel offers a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner in a garden placed in the middle of the hotel yard. Great idea. Our room was a junior suite and a quite good size.... More

What a shock it was when finally the man at the front desk broke away from his personal call to greet us to hear him say you do not have a reservation for the night. SHOCK!! We had rented their biggest baddest room too, confirmed and prepaid! As soon as my wife said show him the paper work, his tone... More

Excellent room, very quiet, spacious and clean. Location is just great: few steps from the Opera house, Technical university. Air conditioner was extremely helpful this terribly hot July. Recommend to book inward room

Best hotel of 4 city trip. They attend to very fine details such as fun maritime style, many lighting options such as under and over, non-fluorescent lighting, beautiful fresh flowers in lobby and rooms, extremely responsive bar, front desk and cleaning staff as well, near metro hub. A bit stingy with coffee and outdoor seating and cramped breakfast buffet area.

A group of four of us stayed for a long weekend. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Close enough to the U Bahn for trips around the city. Breakfast was varied and good and had it not been for the bad weather could probably have been eaten in the lovely courtyard. We had rooms at the front of the hotel... More

This is a small hotel with roomy comfortable guest rooms. The staff was nice and the service was great. Each guest room has a IMAC where you can watch tv or access the Internet. I would stay at this hotel again. It was clean and close walk to some of the sights.

My wife in particular loved this little hotel. We arrived here after a long flight, while they were readying the room we enjoyed a wonderful lunch, great service! The young bellman in particular impressed me! I had injured my leg prior to our trip and was mobility challenged. He went out of his way each day to care for and... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
