Great location, near all major attractions in the city center. Also, next to the food market. Very nice and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. The staff if friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel July 17-21, 2015 while sightseeing in Vienna. I liked this hotel mainly for its convenient location, and close proximity to many dining options. This hotel is located near Karlsplatz. To reach it from Karlsplatz metro station, take the "Secession" exit, walk about 1 block South and cross the street, then turn right and walk about... More

The hotels location is perfect. Walking distance to attractions. Close to night market and museum quarter. Parking is available so it was a plus for us. The hotel room is average. Overall we are satisfied with our stay. Will definitely visit Vienna soon.

Friendly staff, close to Naschmarkt, and OK to sleep but really old, faded, charmless for Vienna, and the breakfast included "past the date" fruit salad that was fizzy from fermentation two days in a row! When we notified the staff they apologized but obviously knew and tried anyway. A shame for a French hotel!

We found this an excellent chain hotel with everything you'd expect and in addition a large room and a good price. Breakfast was excellent as was shower and wifi good though a bit slow sometimes. Hotel is about 10 min. walk from the Opera House so plenty close enough to centre even though just outside the 'Opernring' road. Very close... More

This is one of the European chain hotels, a small boutique type hotel. The staff is very friendly and speak English. Layout of the hotel is a little weird involving 2 elevators to reach all the floors because the hotel actually occupies 2 buildings. Rooms are small but clean, our shower was ridiculous. It's one of those curved things tucked... More

So as is my want I like to write a review whilst travelling back and everything is relatively fresh in my mind. What I need to be clear on is separating the hotel and the customer service experience. I will start on a positive note and say the hotel itself is actually ok and although I have no comparison to... More

Stayed for 2 nites in June. Hotel is clean and well located. Only 10 mins walk to the U Bahn. However, most of the attractions such as Museum Quartier, St Stephen, Belvedere and shopping streets are within 20 to 30 mins walk from the hotel. Naschmarket is just a short walk from the hotel. Staff in hotel is friendly.

Arriving at a hotel on business is very different to a holiday trip. If you are looking for my impressions of how boutique, romantic or otherwise floral the hotel was, look elsewhere. The receptionist was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning wheezed a little but it worked, and the shower in the morning was easy to use and... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighborhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the center. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theater decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
