From a moment of greeting to the departure, we were treated to the most wonderful visit ever. The historic building itself is very well maintained and located at a central of Vienna. The suite was absolutely gorgeous. The staff at the hotel was top notch, very professional, and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was fantastic with good taste and... More

To set the scene – I was really looking forward to staying at the Imperial as a grand finale to our honeymoon trip which took us from Venice to Salzburg and finally onto Vienna. When booking, my wife-to-be only knew of the first two hotels as I deliberately kept Vienna as a surprise. Well what a surprise – and not... More

This hotel has preserved its past glory which allows the guest to feel transported to another era. I won't go so far as to say you feel like royalty here, but I certainly did. I explored the grand staircase and looked at the sparkling chandeliers, this is the stuff of fair tales. The rooms are beautifully furnished. There is a... More

This was our third visit to this iconic hotel but the first since the remodel...and what a sensational outcome it is! The opulent silks, gleaming crystal and rich marble are all part of the hotel's elegant charm but the real testament to its fame is the impeccable, gracious service extended by the staff. We were warmly welcomed back upon our... More

Superb alive history hotel in Vienna, the best one for my taste. Beautiful rooms, impeccable service and client attention, best position. If you want to live in real historical place that's a best choice. Always compliments.

I recently stayed for an extended period of time at the Hotel Imperial. I can't sing the praises enough of the staff, accommodations, service and food. The hotel is a landmark for the area - everyone knows where the Hotel Imperial is located. Mentioning that you're staying there is sufficient to raise eyebrows and receive a questioning look as if... Me and my wife spent two nights here in early December, 2014. Hotel Imperial is literally the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Loved the room, the walk to the lobby from the third floor, the courteous and efficient staff and the strategic location. We walked to St. Stephens in the old city both days and loved the convenience.... More

Wonderfully located within walking distance of galleries, museums, concert halls and elegant shopping, Hotel Imperial is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Our suite was luxuriously decorated, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the added touch of a CD player enhanced the relaxing ambience. Nothing was too much for the staff who all spoke excellent English. The... More

Stayed at the Imperial late Oct 2015 for a couple of days with family. We had 2 connected rooms. The hotel decor is very traditional Viennese and the staff is very professional and warm. The Nashmarket is 10 mins walking distance and is a fun place to hang out. There is a TGIF and a MacDonald next door and lots... More

The Imperial is one of the must elegant and luxurious hotels I have ever visited. The Viennese charm is magnificent. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite, very roomy with a fabulous marble bathroom with Bulgari toiletries. The bar is comfortable, great drinks. The cafe is wonderful for afternoon cake and coffee. Can't wait to come back to the Imperial.
