Very recently remodeled, grand palatial hotel. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully (classic style might not be attractive to everyone) furnished and decorated. Good sized closets, good variety and number of clothes hangars (5 different types). Nearly perfect bathroom with lots of space, good water pressure in separate shower and bathtub, Bidet would be nice. Electrically operated shades can make the... More

We stayed here two nights as part of our honeymoon in October. Beautiful rooms, amazing property. I mean, it literally is a palace turned hotel! Did not have breakfast here because there were far too many options within walking distance but the rooms are fantastic, the bathroom floor heated and the service was impeccable.

Excellent location, beautiful interiors, spacious rooms/bathrooms. Loved the decor of this hotel. Most of the landmarks (opera house, churches, cathedral, palaces, etc) were just a short walk away. We walked everywhere except for visiting the one Summer palace where we took our car. Service was excellent from check in to breakfast, to lobby bar, to the valet. Everyone was attentive,... More

I recently stayed at the Imperial where I have previously stayed numerous times. They have redone the entire main floor...but not necessarily hitting all the notes. What used to be a memorable breakfast buffet has been pared down a few notches and misses some of the special elements that made it special. The new bar is an interesting change that... More

Centrally placed - close to all attractions and shopping area. Good sized rooms. Ask for those to side or back of hotel for quiet. Rather small bar area - piano and good cocktails. Sophisticated clientele mostly European and local. Breakfast overrated and expensive. Better go either to Cafe opposite or to Opera House Cafe 5 mins walk away. Good, attentive... More

What a wonderful place to visit just before Christmas! The rooms were exceptionally spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and heated flooring in the bathrooms. The bar downstairs was one of the most beautiful venues I have ever visited and on our first night they had a wonderful pianist playing classical and contemporary music until very late. It was... Imperial Hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Vienna, a beautiful proof of old luxury style. Services are ok, very friendly staff and very good position near the Philharmonic Hall. Luxury furniture, big suites, large marble bathrooms and an extremely nice lobby&bar. Prices are very high, but it worth almost every penny.

Stayed at Imperial Vienna for 2 nights in December, well located, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. the hotel is really grand and beautiful, with lots of historical heritage details. The rooms are gorgeous and really imperial. Be sure to have the breakfast at the hotel cafe to start the day.

The Imperial is one of the finest hotels you can stay at if you can afford the euros. The location is wonderful, the staff is amazing, and the rooms are opulent. A drink at the bar is a must and the room defines old-world glamour. My suite had a piano in it -- what else can I say? The concierges... More
