We stayed 3 nights here and had a very large beautiful room with a view of the atrium. The location in the heart of old town gave us the feeling of the antiquities around us that we wanted and gave us easy access for walking everywhere to see the sites. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were... More

The Hotel König Von Ungarn is without any doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It has got an excellent location, feels genuine and is absolutely charming. The service was good and friendly at all times, and the cleaning perfect. Our room (no. 201) was big, with nice light "Nordic style" furniture. The bed was too hard,... More

We stayed 3 nights here, and had a beautiful, spacious room with a view of the St Stephen's Cathedral spire, which was particularly lovely at night. The room had been very nicely renovated recently, including the bathroom, so all was very new. The front desk staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, both before and during our stay. Breakfast buffet (included... More

This is not a luxury hotel. It is a very well appointed small hotel, conveniently situated behind St Stephen's Cathedral. That makes it within easy walking of the concerts, the opera and the palaces and museums which are a must for any visitor to Vienna. our room was reasonably priced with a king bed and comfortable sitting lounges. The bathroom... More

We stayed at the hotel from May 22nd through May 25th. This was the first hotel of our trip and we loved it. The location is perfect. We took the train from the airport with our luggage and were relieved that the hotel was an easy walk from the Stephensdom stop. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but the... More

This hotel has history behind it. Renovated to modern standards. I booked a double room, which to my surprise had a second floor that can be mistaken for a good sized studio apartment if it had a bathroom. Centrally located just behind St Stephens Cathedral and the beautiful shopping area. Breakfast is included in the room price. Real value for... More

My wife told me "you can't judge a hotel by how they look outside" this may be so, because the bldg is old. But inside it is well maintained. My family love the family room. Room is large and clean It has a king size bed and and attic like 2nd floor with 2 single beds. Has a bathroom in... More

The hotel is centrally located, very close to St Stephen's Cathedral. The rooms are huge for European standards, very well appointed, and freshly remodeled. The service was very good. The hotel is not cheap, but worth the expense. Has a nice restaurant that serves as breakfast room, breakfast was included in the room rate and it was outstanding both in... More

Our 3rd. stay at this gem, this time for 8 days over Easter. If you want old world charm & friendliness in an ideal location near the Stephansdom, at reasonable prices, look no further. Breakfast is very good but very Austrian - no Belgian waffles, tofu, mango, etc. Very good restaurant & within walking distance of many others that are... More
