special accomodation in ancient convent guesthouse, staff very welcoming, rooms spacious and comfortable, very clean, furniture somewhat dated, but good mattress & spotless bathroom, good breakfast, prime location for exploring on foot but close to bus & subway, unobtrusive religious activities, if you want something out of the ordinary this is where you find it. wifi sometimes wobbly, but this... I absolutely loved my stay here. It is centrally located and an easy 5 minute walk to everything you'll want to see in the town center. Restaurants, shops, grocery, public transportation all within a stone's throw of the front door. My room was on the 3rd floor and was large, airy and had windows that opened onto a lovely courtyard... More

I give it a four stars is for it good location, good WiFi, quiet and clean room, but no air-conditioning for hot summer. Breakfast is ok, not great. The girl who services in that room is not very helpful, no interaction with anybody, not even a "good morning!" or presents a smile face.

We chose to stay here after staying near St. Stephan's on an earlier leg of our trip, and we much preferred this neighborhood. It was cleaner, prettier, and had much better food options. The hotel itself is very secure, with several locked doors to go through. And it was very quiet and spacious. They also had the best showers on... More

Definitely no frills, but our room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the street. The complimentary breakfast was delightful as well. The kitchen lady was so kind. She even made us soft-boiled eggs. Can't beat the location and can now say I've stayed in a working monastery!

I loved this stay. the location is amazing. close to all the important sites and city center is a few minutes walk. and for the price it's a unbeatable deal and explains why they are always sold out, the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy if you have the windows open because of the cars and market being... Centrally located in the old city, with beautiful view on palaces as you come out, this place is probably the best for its value. Impeccably clean, quiet and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast is self service but offers a vast array of breads etc... The reception is open till 7 pm but your key opens both the doors of the... More

This place has it all...location, value and facilities. Our room was HUGE, with brand new bathroom (and a beautiful HOT shower on a cold winters night) and extremely quiet. The breakfast is included and caters for all tastes. We will stay here again, without a doubt.

The location is fantastic! It's a ten minute walk to St. Stephan's Cathedral and a five minute walk to the Rathaus (city hall). The guesthouse is comfortable (though the beds are a bit firm). For the winter the heat is adequate in the rooms. Breakfast is filling (selection of breads, deli sliced meats and cheeses), yogurt and toppings, cereal, coffee,... More

Frühstuck "Albertina" zu empfelhen. Opposite the street is room 305 ,very quiet, and has everything for a short stay (3 nights). The door of the shower is not totally waterproof, so beware the flood. After a while you get used to the technical side of this design hotel. A taxi station 50 meters from lobby is an asset of this... More
