The hotel is in a good position, near the center of city. Under the hotel trhere are much pub and resturant. The room and the bathroom were clear and modern. The price isn't cheap, but the the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good!

Nice clean rooms, excellent location just inside the Ringstrasse, north west of the centre. Service was great. Decent breakfast. Rooms were clean too. Good place to go if you want somewhere fuss free, and competitively priced. I stayed in en-suite room, over looking Salzgries road. Highly recommend.

I spent 3 weeks in Europe (Spain, France, Italy, & Austria). This is the worst hotel (it's a youth hostel not a hotel) I stayed in. Rooms are very poorly equipped. There was no heating in the room. We complained to the receptionist who said the heater starts working after 4 pm. But it NEVER worked. The bathroom heater wasn't... More

Overall, I was happy with this hotel. It is very simple but caters to all of your basic needs. It's clean and the breakfast is pretty decent. The only negative thing I have to say is that there seemed to be some confusion on my arrival due to a lack of communication by the employees, and the girl I was... More

Good hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. Rooms were small but okay. Breakfast had many different foods and was good. The only downside was noise from street because we were there in heat wave and could not close windows.

Well located, low budget B&B-like accommo close to Schwedenplatz (trams, underground, buses, Vienna Hop On Hop Off stop, bus to airport) & St Stephen's Cathedral. With a little lift to first floor (so we didn't need to lug bags up the stairs) where the rooms are. Decent sized rooms (with attached bathrooms) congregated around a central breakfast area. VERY noisy... More

The check in time was 12.00 noon and we reached an hour early. The room was obviously not ready and we had to wait more than an hour. We preferred to just freshen up and leave for city sightseeing. We were little bit disappointed at the receptionist as she was too blunt to say that she can't help as we... More

This is kind of a hostel or guesthouse more than a hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast a bit basic but enough to keep you going for the morning and the keys are given to you so you can go in and out as you like. The bed linnen however, looked a bit old and the duvets used... More

I stayed on this hotel for two nights alone. It has a very small single room which is very convenient. The breakfast was included in that low price. And it was more than adequate for me. The elevator which takes you to the hotel floor is very slow so if you have problems with stairs just be patient. Shower made... More

The Dan In'n Out is pretty average for a B&B - the room was a good size, but the sleep quality could've been a lot better if better quality bedding (especially better pillows) was provided. The breakfast was pretty mediocre as far as breakfasts go too (bread provided, but no toaster, for example). But its room sizes and location are... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
