It was really a good choice - good price and the location was even better - very close to the city centre and to the metro station. The staff was very helpful, even though they don't work 24 hours a day.

The hotel is located in the city centre, offers a good breakfast, has friendly staff and a good (and free) WiFi connection. I had a 1-person room, the room was large and the bathroom was nice. Easy to reach from the airport: take bus no. 8, it stops at Schwedenplatz/Moritzplatz. The hotel is in a 5 minute walk from there.... More

Very close to the city center this pension house/small hotel will be a good budget choice. Rooms are quite spacious and with modern furniture. The bathroom is quite small but you can live with it. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was enough. We only spent one night here but would book it again if decided to... More

My husband and I stayed only one night at Dan In'n Out and have nothing but good things to say about the place save for a few minor details. Firstly, it is a little difficult to find since the only sign indicating that it exists is on the door of the building. Secondly, the noise from the street is loud... More

More a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel, Dan In’n Out is within a few minutes’ walk to Vienna’s central attractions and relatively close to Schottenring and Schwedenplatz U-bahn stations. Its minimalist décor in bright colours bares room fitments down to the essentials, but everything required for (mostly) short stays is in place, from cable TV and Wi-Fi to the... More

The staff was very helpful and service minded, no problem for us with late check in and sharing a single room on two persons on short notice. Clean room with private bathrooms. Good location, the schwedenplatz is located nearby with many restaurants and bars. Very Close to several subway stations. Great breakfast buffet for being a budget hostel. Perfect stay... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip to Vienna and thought it was great. Fab location, easy walking distance to most attractions and not far from the tube station. Lots of eating places nearby and an Aldi across the road. We had room number 11 which was huge with lovely big windows, a comfy bed and nice bathroom.... More

This is a relatively (Europe) large size room with good furniture and bathroom/shower. The location can't be beat. It is in old town within 10 minutes walk of every incredible attraction. St. Stephens Cathedral is only 5 minutes away. The breakfast is also very good. The wi-fi is free and super fast! There is also an Aldi 50 meters away... More

First of all, it is a B&B not a hotel. That said...Dan's is the Austrian version of an B&B...very clean and modern. The building looks like an regular apartment building, but once you get to the lobby/reception...you see the B&B feel. it has a relatively big dinning area with fruits and cereal available. The reservation and check-in processes are very... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
