We (my brother and I who are in our early twenties, along with our parents) stayed in here early January and had a fantastic time! The apartment felt very homely and was decorated in Art Deco style. We all had plenty of space and the facilities (including washing machine, good hair dryer and dish washer) were great. The location was... More

This apartment has a very good location. It is a few minutes walk from the underground station and around 20 minutes walk from St Stephan Church. The wifi works well. It is close to the Danbue Canal and if you walk along the Danbue Canal, there are a lot of interesting street arts. Nice apartment and highly recommended.

I am a fussy traveller and prefer apartments to hotels so often look for 3 star bargains just for the space and to have a kitchen. This place was fabulous, the apartment and the location were great. My 18 yr old daughter and I stayed in Karoline and it was quiet, clean, spacious and only a 15 minute walk to... More

Me and three friends from Stockholm went on a girls weekend to Vienna beginning of October 2014. We stayed in Appartements Hermine (appartment Sophie, 1 floor) for three nights and we are very satiesfied. The place was most of all good loacated, right by the metro station (U2/U4) which takes you all around the city. We bought the Vienna 72h... More

We really enjoyed our stay in the Appartements Hermine. The location is perfect with very easy access to all of Vienna's wonderful attractions, restaurants and most importantly for us, coffee houses! We stayed in the Elisabeth apartment which is beautifully laid out and furnished. The rooms are all furnished to a very high standard and are comfortable. We even enjoyed... More

3 of us stayed in the Marie apartment and we all found the apartment to be elegant, comfortable, clean and super central. It is in the Leopold district which is well worth exploring for its ambience and hip restaurants, and the Augarden which I loved walking in. Kitchen was well appointed, separate bathroom and toilet is handy, and it's really... More

I used the room(Elizabeth) 4 nights with my friend during our trip to Vienna. We had a great time there. It was clean perfectly and the set of furniture was really nice and lovely! The bedclothes were also nice. The owner was very kind because she left the letter telling us the way to the nearest supermarket and beautiful roses,... More

My wife and I stayed in the Viktoria apartment on the first floor (above ground level) for two nights earlier this month. It has two bedrooms, a dining/living room, a small kitchen and a bathroom/toilet. The apartment is very close to public transportation (Schottenring Metro station, Hermine exit) as well as a small grocery store. It is also very close... More

An apartment with large rooms, high ceilings, real furniture, freshly renovated, quiet, comfortable, very clean, with many small and not so small practical conveniences. Usually in each hotel or apartment there is somewhere some compromise to be made - here there wasn't any. The location is top - close enough to the centre to walk, yet very quiet and at... More

I recommend these apartments to anyone. My apartment was tastefully furnished and included 1.5 bathrooms, a kitchen, a washing machine, and a spacious living room. There is not an onsite manager, but the owner is excellent in responding to questions and requests. The apartments are close to local store and extremely close to the U-Bahn. As a side note, the... Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
