Good hotel next to convention centre but still 15 mins walk to main entrance. Above average gym. A bit out of town but close to trains, a good Spar supermarket and bank. A few low cost restaurants nearby. TV channels in English are limited

I have been to Vienna many times but this was, after more than 10 years, another visit by car. It was my primary concern, as you cannot park for free in the street anywhere, so I decided to use hotel's garage, which was very convenient and after all not so expensive as it would be in other hotels in the... Anyone thinking of the Prater think of the Ferris wheel of the largest green part of Vienna. Well, the modern area has some surprise. Marriott is one of them. A nice hotel, close to a very active part of the city, where there is an easy mixture of pleasure and business

This hotel was a fantastic stay within easy access of the airport and historic city center. Metro stop was only a 3-minute walk and grocery store (EuroSpar) as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to the Marriott app, we were able to check-in at 9am!!! We were beyond excited about that considering we had a direct flight from... More

Stayed for 2 nights at the start of a trip through Austria and was surprised by the hotel. Easy access from airport via the metro. Upgraded to business class room with elite membership and was big and comfortable on the higher floors and good wifi access. Found all the staff to be very friendly and enjoyed happy hour drinks on... More

My wife and I stayed here and we're very happy with our experience. One of the best parts was that it was so close to the metro station and we could get downtown to all of the greatest attractions in just a few short minutes for only a couple Euro each.

Nice hotel and great park nearby to run in. No lounge for executive guests but a welcome drink included. Service is good and the furniture pretty new so nothing to complain about! The subway station is not far either so that's good, unless you want to stay very central. I would go back there!

Very nice hotel. We had a suite that was huge and very clean. Friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast buffet. Close to ubahn station so easy to get into city center. Not a whole lot of restaurants nearby. Fitness center but no pool.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
