The hotel is situated in a quiet area with a very good location, 15-20 minutes walking distance from the centre (St. Stephan's square) and 2 minutes from the metro station. Very comfortable apartment (we appreciated the Nespresso machine :-)). A plus is the availability of fitness and wellness areas, even though we could not enjoy them because of our short... More

While not in the city center, the location ends up being very good, less than a block away from the U-bahn. (Buy a multi-day pass and basically go anywhere in the city with minimal walking). We rented two rooms for 5 of us and space was not an issue. Each room had a decent sized living area (includes kitchen), a... More

Stayed in June 2015. Couldn't have been more satisfied. Our room was on the 5th floor - basically a 1 bedroom apartment. There was a small kitchen area with a good size refrigerator. There was a coffee maker with pods. Separate bedroom and bath. We did not face the street and it was super quiet. Very restful sleep at night.... More

We rented 7 apartments in this place. Would have been happier if we could have got apartments on one or 2 floors ... but we had one each on all the the floors. The ones on the ground floor were extremely small. Even the kitchen is not very well equipped. Egnus at the reception was very helpful. She checkin us... More

Our standard room included a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe, combination shampoo and soap dispensers in shower. The kitchen was perfectly adequate ; a decent fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and hob. The room was a studio flat with on suite shower. The room was cleaned every day. The staff we met were friendly and polite. There is a... More

We stayed in the Standard room which was still a very good size, well furnished and kept immaculately clean. The kitchen area has all you need and the shower room is lovely. We enjoyed making use of the gym, sauna and the rooftop terrace. The location worked out well as it is in easy walking distance of the centre, just... More

Maybe not in a 'prime' neighbourhood, but still in a safe, clean one, you'll find this excellent apartment. The one bedroom apartment was large enough to host our family of 4. Two folding beds were placed in the spacious living room. Bedroom and bathroom were extremely large. This makes it a bit peculiar the kitchen is only tiny (door of... More

We stayed three nights at MyPlace Riverside Apartments and would strongly recommend this property. 10 minute walk to the city or two stops on the Metro which is located across the road. We had two large rooms, high ceilings, king size bed, air conditioning and if required, under floor heating in the bathroom! Kitchenette isn't large but adequate. TV in... More

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
