Comfortable and well equipped apartment with clean beds and a bathroom. We rented a studio apartment for 10 nights. Not luxurious, but it's great if you would be out most of the time. Great location(Schottenring station is only a 2 minute walk), near to city. Helpful and polite owners ;) No mineral water provided so we just bought our own... More

These apartments are in old buildings which look they were renovated in the 1980's. So not luxurious but definitely everything you need for a self-sufficient stay in Vienna. The pros & cons as we experienced them over 10 days are: * The location is not in central Vienna but is on the very north-eastern edge of it (just across the... More

Staying for three nights in Vienna, we looked for a good place to stay in Vienna. Not too far from the center the Liechtenstein Apartments are located close to the Schottering Metro station. The neighborhood seems sketchy at the beginning, but is just the first impression. One issue was that the Lady at the reception could not speak any english,... More

A small two-level apartment, nicely located, very well equipped ( a fridge, a hai-dryer, a toaster, a microwave, a kettle and even an iron! ) Very nice owners. Be sure to find a proper exit on the underground ( Herminengasse) and to ask the owners for the map how to get there. Very good value for the money.

We order by Booking.com an appartment with 2 double beds in 2 inside floors. Good Price ! Great location ! Clean ! The owner speaks also Hebrew. We were allowed to check-out at 18:30 as there were no new resevation to this room. There are more beds in the room (I think 3...), so more people can share it.

Conformable beds and an amazing shower. Friendly staff, great location. Easy to get to the airport and city centre and a short walk to the Danube river. The schottenring ubahn station is a 2 min walk. Only downside was a little mold in the toilet and the wifi connection kept going off. However it had all the facilities you would... More

Owners are so friendly & welcoming. The room was very nice and clean, provided with everything you need for your stay. In a quiet area so slept very easily. There is a Spar round the corner for your food shop, along with a cosmetics shop. Literally a 2min walk to the U-bahn. Only bad thing is we spotted some ants... More

This was an incredible find for those who need self catering and close to the city! It is quite close to the Herminengasse exit of the Schottenring station of the U-Bahn (Local Underground) so if you take the Underground you need to get off at this station and find the Herminengasse exit as it will save a ton of time

We were 9 people & we spent 5 nights at this hotel. Our rooms were divided between two buildings. The area was quiet and relaxing. There were many restaurants close by, and a Billa chain supermarket. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. We made good use of the kitchenette. Unfortunately there was a strange unpleasant smell, possibly because... More

Clean enough but if you're a clean freak like me,you'll notice the bit of dust and hair of previous guests on the floor. Very close to metro station. Coffee/tea making facilities but there was also a small fridge&microwave oven that make life easier.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
