I spent five days in Villa Kumpf in March, to attend a congress. The location is really fascinating, an old palace built in the late 1800 located in a silent street 5 minutes by walk from Stephanplatz. My apartment was at the 4th floor, it was composed by a entrance with a kitchen, a bathroom and a smaller adjacent restroom,... More

We booked our stay few months in advance, but unfortunately, had to postpone the arrival due to my sickness. The owners had full understandings, did not charge any penalties, was very kind. The one bedroom apartment is very cosy, spotless clean, luxurious, warm, you feel like a true Viennese. The location is the best, you are in the middle of... More

Amazing apartment, charming, yet with modern amenities. It has a little kitchenette and laundry room in case you fancy home cooked meals and freshly pressed clothes. The location is perfect(around the corner from Stephansdom), a quick walk from almost everything interesting in Vienna. Above all, very kind and friendly service. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice Hotel best location In walk distance from most of the important tourist attractions. very clean and comfortable with children. It a bit tricky to find as the Hotel Sign is small however look for the address No. 7 and you will see it in front of you. We recommend !

The very center of Vienna. Quiet lane. Pedestrianized street. The old house of the 18th century. Clean front, there is a lift. Apartment on the 4th floor. Antique furniture. Large double bed. Sofa bed. Mini kitchen for a sliding partition. Bathroom: shower with a gas burner, but hot water is enough. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Good free WI-FI. Even the lady... More

This apartment is in the best possible location in Vienna. Just a short 3-5 minute walk from St Stephens Cathedral. But at the same time its off the main road so very quite and peaceful. We stayed there for 4 days and hardly ever had to use a cab as most of the attractions were within a short distance. There... More

The apartment is in a central location but off the main tourist streets. Generally quite quiet but the restaurant below is a bit noisy for anyone sleeping on the hide a bed. The bedroom itself was very quiet. The apartment was very well equipped and charming. The location is excellent for trips to the main Vienna sights. Two grocery stores... More

Great stay in Vienna. Hotel is in an apt building, beautiful and newly remodeled but still classic looking. Great for a family. Off of a main street so very quiet. Had a full kitchen though we didn't use it. Close to tourist attractions, everything within walking distance. And great restaurants on the same street. Staff very friendly. I'd highly recommend... Very comfortable apartments in the heart of Vienna Villa is located in the city center – 5 minutes’ walk from St. Sebastian Cathedral. The place is very quiet. There are everything you need in the apartment inkl. kitchen. Ii is a good choice for travelers who want to feel at home. The price is the only drawback.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
