We stayed there for 3 nights during the Festspiele. The hotel location is great and although, as many pointed out, it's a bit tattered, the service is good and the breakfast too. Good to have more than the usual semmeln and cold cuts you get anywhere else in Austria. I strongly advise to try the restaurant at least once!

This hotel is definitely not worthy of 4 stars. We booked a standard room which turned out to be rather tatty and unwelcoming, with a totally superfluous fax machine taking up the limited space. The room was a non-smoking room, but smelt musty. It was also not particularly clean on our arrival (dirty carpet, fingerprints on mirrors and windowpanes). Other... More

Rooms good & well appointed, however air con turned off for whole hotel, for economy reasons, making rooms too hot or very noisy (had to have window open). This was in mid September when temperature was 23C in the room (according to Manager!!). Manager went to great lengths to state that his was the best hotel in Bregenz & was... More

We used this hotel as part of a tour to our final destination in Austria and while it was a very comfortable and well maintained hotel I think I have to mark it down by one star for its location on a back street in Bregenz. Don't get me wrong, it is a very short walk to the centre of... More

This hotel is on a busy road . We had some problems when my husband had a long hot shower. The member of staff on duty first said we had been smoking and set off the fire alarm then he said we could not have a long shower. I thought his attitude was very rude and not like all the... More

This is a stylish city centre hotel that is just a short walk from the wonderful Bodensee (Lake Constance) . A 5 minute walk to the rail station and you can board one of the frequent trains to Switzerland or be in the wonderful Island city of Lindau in 10 minutes. It's brilliant. Dinner in the restaurant is not cheap... More

Got the 'last minute' online double-room price and it was a bargain! Free parking in the parking garage right across the street. Location was perfect, hotel staff very helpful and the building itself was very charming. Breakfast was delicious in an old-world setting. Free wifi for the two of us in our room and we even had a charming view... More

We spent two nights in this hotel, as it was a great jumping-off point to visit Vaduz and Lindau. Three of us shared a spacious room, with free WIFI, television and honor bar. The bed was comfortable, although I guess the sofa sleeper was about what is expected from a sofa sleeper The toilet was separate from the shower, which... More

We only had one night in Bregenz and it was a nice experence. The hotel was nice and seemed a great value based on our travels in Europe. The hotel staff was very welcoming and provided some great recommendations for dining and things to do.
