The chalet is perfectly ok for 95% of skiers who just want somewhere comfortable to eat and sleep. For those that want luxury and pampering you will be disappointed. The crystal staff are very friendly, hard working and dedicated. The bedrooms are reasonable size, most have en-suite facilities and the beds are very comfortable which was a welcome bonus. The... Having read some of the reviews we weren't expecting much from the chalet, we were very pleased though. Not luxury of course but we didn't pay for luxury.. we were there to ski in half term week and got a fantastic deal. We stayed in the apartment and it suited us perfectly - my husband, myself and our teenage son.... More

We booked this holiday back in August 2013 so we were eagerly waiting as it arrived. I will break it down by area as there are goods and there are bads. Arrival: We arrived pretty late Round about 8ish and the coach dropped us off a steep walk away from the chalet so after a flight and 2 hour journey... More

Accommodation is a little tired, but bedrooms and ensuite are more than adequate (room quite large and beds and linen really comfy), and the amazing staff and service make up for anything missing. Staff in the chalet (special mention to Supervisor Erica and Chef Ollie) and the Rep (Elliot) could not do enough to ensure we had a great holiday.... More

My 18 year old son & I stayed there in half-term week (never a good time to go skiing!), so the chalet was full. This probably means that it is the worst time to visit. We had room 110, which was OK, but I must admit other reviewers are right when they say that the bathrooms are small. The room... More

Just returned from Chalet Karlberger yesterday. I travelled with my husband and 7 year old daughter. We had a fantastic time! The skiing was excellent, with a great wealth of options for all abilities. The chalet was great too. Staff were lovely and always helpful. The food was good and if you didn't particularly fancy something on offer, they would... More

Just returned from a week at the Karlberger - 4 adults, 1 6 yr old and 2 nearly 3 years olds. Travelled to variety of resorts before including Kitzbuhel (stayed at the swanky Kitzhof) and slightly unnerved by negative reviews before we travelled. But no need to worry. Yes chalet is basic but very comfortable and clean. Food c/o Matt... More

On entering the chalet we were not made welcome, even though i was in a group of 4. The 2 chalet girls huddled in a corner to discuss what was happening with our rooms and then we was told that they were still not ready, even though it had gone 2pm. We was not told anything by the chalet girls... More
