Exactly what you'd expect in a slightly posh place like Kitzbuhel; fine rooms, great views, fitness area, pool, sauna, etc... What the place lacks is a bit of atmosphere. We were there in March, i.e. the end of the skiing season: The bar was closed, there was almost nobody in any of the dining areas and the staff were remarkably... More

We spent four nights here in Mid-March. Lovely building, excellent location in town, just over five mins walk to lifts. Had a junior suite which was well worth the extra it was rather quirky, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Good sized ski room with boot driers and ski racks. Breakfast spread was as good as it comes, with view of... More

We went as a party of 8 friends. Booking process - very responsive and helpful by email made it easy. Especially when our party size changed near the trip time. First impression (we arrived by car park and spa at the back of the hotel) nice hotel but an odd entrance as had to get the lift up to the... More

The Tiefenbrunner is a very good hotel, and has much that could make it a truly great hotel although to achieve that will need a re-think of some of the details of the experience against the yardstick of Austria's finest. The hotel sits at one end of Kitzbuhel's historic main street, meaning that if you've come to ski your walk... More

This was our second visit to this hotel and having read the reviews here on returning home I can agree with a lot of the points and they have been well made. We booked two rooms and upgraded on one at an extra 6 Euros a day per person as Austrian twins are two mattresses on a double frame and... More

This was our ideal hotel for a ski holiday. It has been in the same family for hundreds of years. Big bedrooms with plenty of storage and very good bathrooms, including great showers. Breakfast was excellent: a buffet with everything you could possibly want. The staff were friendly and efficient. My husband had a birthday while we were there and... More

A perfect family run hotel in the heart of the loveliest ski resort in Austria. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel is in a perfect location for all the shops and restaurants and only a short walk to the main lift. We hope to be able to stay again one day.

An amazing hotel. We arrived late evening & went straight to dinner, having travelled all day. Food was as fantastic as I remembered from last year & the staff remembered us. When we were shown to our room, it was brilliant. As we looked out of the window we could see the Hahnankamm, it was all lite up & stunning.... More

We've just returned after a week's skiing staying at this hotel. Our rooms were large, very clean and warm, with large modern shower rooms. The food was excellent - a five course evening meal with a choice of three main courses, including a vegetarian course. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Sam who ran the hotel bar... More

just returned from a weeks skiing holiday with 3 other mates and we shared 2 x twin rooms. As all European twins tend to be 2 singles together, our rooms were large and included a double sofa-bed, so used this and transferred 1 single mattress etc, so we all had plenty of free space. Also liked the fact that WC... More
