The food was excellent. Every night we had a fantastic meal (choice of 3 main courses) for the whole week. Imaginatively presented, differing from, but exceeding, expectations. We'd happily pay £100 per couple plus wine if we could eat this in my local UK town. Everything else good - it's the food that makes it well worth a visit. more

Myself and my husband stayed in the Kitzhof for one week over the New Year on our first skiing holiday. Although the hotel is expensive (we booked through a travel agent) I think you definitely get value for money and Kitzbuhel is a beautiful location. Stayed here in September so can only comment on summertime. Its located just outside of town, but only takes about 5 mins to walk in. The gondolas are a little further, probably 15-20 mins at most. It was quiet when we went due to end of summer season, which had its advantages when it comes to the pool and sauna.... more
