This is a cosy - Tyrol style hotel. The rooms are good, the bathroom could use a little upgrade (very small shower-space). Too bad they close the bar/restaurant if not sufficient customers so you have to go elsewhere. Dissapointing when you book an overnight passing through and look forward to the good food :( Although close to several ski-resorts, this... More

This hotel was very conveniently placed for us to travel to a number of ski areas within a 30 minute drive. The hotel is older but it was very good value. It is a short stroll from Zirl centre where there are a number of nice cafes and restaurants. The room was a nice size and breakfast was tasty. Free... More

We enjoyed our stay here and found the staff very helpful. The hotel is older and it does show, but overall it was very well taken care if and clean. Our rooms were a good size and the room for our three teenage boys was perfect. We had balconies which was nice for fresh air as we were there during... More

After booking and paying in full for a family suite a year in advance we arrived to be told their 3 suites were booked out - despite receiving email confirmation that the suite was reserved!! We did not find the staff friendly or helpful at all As we were travelling with two children (9 & 13) we specially booked here... More

Enjoyed our stay in this picturesque hotel near Innsbruck. Good breakfast and easy to find. Our bed was comfortable and the staff pleasant. We would stay here again. European bathroom is not up to American standards, but we don't expect that when traveling in Europe.

The hotel could really use bathroom upgrades. I understand the old Tyrolean charm - and the rooms were spotless, but the bathrooms ruin your impression. Lighting in our bathroom added to making things feel dirty, even though it was very clean. Light bulbs were not replaced giving a gray look to the bath. We had a room over the kitchen... More

The property is a short ride from Innsbruck Airport and is VERY Austrian. By this I mean it looks like a cuckoo clock from the outside, which is pretty, but inside you might wish for more...... I arrived at two minutes past two in the afternoon, and was refused lunch, because last orders are at 1400!!!! My third-floor room was... More

There is a beautiful walk up a gorge minutes from the hotel which we recommend. We also had two really good dinners at the hotel restaurant. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are nice (although no bathroom ventilation) and the drive to Innsbruck was easy. A great visit!

If your want to stay in a small town with hometown charm this is a nice place to stay. Although a distance from most attractions it is not a problem if you have a car. Cute little town and friendly people. We had a great stay. and would if we ever return would stay here again.
