I visited the lodge in the summer, to take in Talfest. Owner and staff friendly and accommodating. I didn't make it to breakfast but dinner was amazing every night! Loved going out on the town with everyone! Would definitely recommend to all. Yes, it's basic and wifi is a bit sketchy, but these are only minor criticisms really.

I was here for 4 nights and had a great time. Plenty of free activities to do around the valley and on the mountains. The staff were very helpful, if a little hectic, but they all spoke very good English and added to the atmosphere of the place. The room was much nicer than some of the other similarly priced... What a great place up in the mountains and out of the big city! This has got to be one of the most relaxed friendly and welcoming places I have stayed on all my travels. Jim and the team were always helpful and willing to offer great advice about what to do and the views and mountains were amazing. The... More

Fantastic place to stay, from the cosy room with balcony, great bathroom facilities. We were upgraded from a three person share to a private double with ensuite. The staff are very generous with their help and provided us with free wildschonau passes for the gondolas and were happy to arrange paragliding and other activities for us. Also greeted with milo... Apsley ski lodge was fantastic! On arrival we received warm milos and a cheese toastie and were upgraded rooms from a 3 share to a private room with ensuite with my boyfriend. We got free passes for the gondolas which have spectacular views! And the staff were super friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. The restaurant... More

I travelled to the Apsley with my 3 YO and can honestly say it was the best holiday we have had! Very welcoming, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. My daughter was allowed to watch cartoons in the restaurant and set up dens, she couldn't have been made to feel more welcome! The food was excellent for the duration of the stay... More

Thanks again to Tom and the team for a fantastic stay at the Apsley. I've been out there twice before, but this time took my wife and 2 children as it was pretty relaxed with it being almost the end of the season. The snow in Neiderau wasn't great (in fact the worst they've had in 10 years), but Tom... More
