This rather strange hotel is not in a particularly good area of Salzburg and my friend and I felt a little uneasy being out after dark in this part. It is, however, very convenient for the train station which is excellent if you are going to be travelling elsewhere. The bedroom I occupied had large black cut-out figures on the... More

I asked for a quiet room, so they sent me across the street to their other hotel. The room was quite dated and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom was updated and quite nice though. Hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great.

This hotel has a reasonably good location close to the bahnhof and is a 20minute walk into the old town. However it is right on a busy street corner and even though there is double glazing to the windows, if you are going to stay there you will definitely need earplugs. The rooms are large and comfy but the bathroom... More

This hotel is a easy walk from the train station , which was perfect for me, and only 10 min walk to the old town, or bus is also right there. I wasn't big on the old town, I wanted to see the alps, so I had no problem. What really interested me was the Eco system they designed, especially... More

We were surprised by the size of the room, which was very big. We were in the Sound of Music themed room in the main hotel building. With a 3 year old severely jetlagged daughter, this was an ideal place since our bedroom was separated from the living area. We discovered a kids' park up the road from the hotel... More

Old charm, excellent breakfast, wonderful staff, bed was divine, room was large, love the Sound of Music touches throughout the hotel. 2 mins from Main train station. Shops close by. Staff are friendly and all speak English, a pleasure to deal with especially the kitchen staff. A 20 minute scenic walk into the city to designer shops ....the walk itself... More

Our family of three recently stayed 2 nights in the Annex Der Salzburger Hof. Our room was also across the street from the main structure. The room was huge with a bit out dated carpet. The bathroom was ok - with the sink, tub and shower in one room and the toilet in another, but not much shower suppliers. There... More

We arrived at 10:30pm via train from Gunzburg to find we had been upgraded - always a nice surprise. However the next surprise wasn't so good. The keys we were given opened a room that was obviously already occupied. Unfortunately we had to wait to correct the issue whilst the couple in front of us complained about the room they... More

We stayed for 3 nights whilst making our way back to the UK from the Harley Davidson European Rally. The hotel is well maintained with very individually styled themed rooms. The staff were all excellent. Breakfast was very plentiful and well presented. Our evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. The free on site parking was great for the Harley.... More
