Booked a double room here in the morning before arriving into Salzburg latter that afternoon and was very disappointed to be told that they only had a twin room left (2 single beds) as there were limited hotel options available to us we checked in, upon getting into the room out of curiosity checked their booking website to see if... We booked a double room only to arrive and be told there were only single rooms left, no apologies were made and meanwhile they were still advertising online double rooms available. The hotel stunk of cigarette smoke and was extremely dated, the beds were very uncomfortable and check out was slow. It was a 40 minute walk to the old... More

Located next to a convention centre there is not much around to see or do. The breakfast is okay. Rooms are old and beds very soft. Ok if you get a good deal but if you are after convenience this place is not for you. Wifi is free and better reception in room than in lobby. 3rd floor has free... More

When arriving at main station take bus no 1 messe/arena to last stop where you will find this hotel. A bit out of the way but buses are on hand every 20 minutes to take you into town, a 24 hour pass costs 3.40 euros. The hotel itself is a bit run down and could do with a makeover. Breakfast... We stayed at this hotel for two nights during the Salzburger Festspiele. Upon our arrival at the check-in the keys were handed to us without any further information (except the room number) - comments like that there's free coffee on the third floor, when and where we can have our breakfast, or the wifi password would have been nice.. But... More

We stayed here for a night with our two kids. The room was clean but outdated. The hotel has a strange deco... The receptionist was nice... The other personel no... Maybe coz they dont speak english, they prefer to ignore us. Bathroom needs to be renovated ASAP (and the whole Hotel too!) Breakfast was ok. There were so many dishes... More

It is deffinetly not a 4 star Hotel. At this price you can find something better with breakfast included. Breakfast is ok for 25 € per Room but the coffe is terrible. They have free parking though and some of them are friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The negative: Everything is outdated and worn out. The LCD TV didnt work. The WIFI signal on our PC was 3/4 out 5, but the broadband speed was embarrassingly slow. It brought me back on memorylane, some 17 years ago, when we had 56k modem/ISDN. Unfortunately one in the family got sick... More

The Arena is a real hotel. It is not downtown, but it's not difficult to get to the tourist spots. The hotel is perhaps not luxury, but it's more than adequate. It is good value for money. If we ever return to Salzburg, we'll probably stay there again.

We ended up at this hotel because everything was booked due to the Mozart festival. We booked a business double for one night because it said it included laundry wash/dry and robes and slippers, two items not included in the basic rooms. Also, they advertize wifi throughout. First, the hotel is totally outdated. They only had one key (yes, they... More
