My favorite restaurant to eat in Salzburg would be Carpe Diem, a quaint eatery dedicated to serving "the finest finger foods." My favorite museum in Salzburg would be Mozart's Geburtshaus, where Mozart was born, and as a result, holds a perfectly satisfying array of Mozart goodies. My favorite hotel in the world would be the one that enabled me to... More

Stayed in a Junior Suite with view of Old Town. The entire experience was excellent. Room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the decor. The room was newly updated and with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was delicious and included sparkling wine and their famous desserts. Location was wonderful - right across the river from Old Town and... More

From the moment our taxi pulled up out the front we felt very special indeed. Staff took care of us and our luggage, check in was simple and it was lovely to have fresh fruit and the famous Sacher Chocolate Torte waiting for us in our room. We had adjoining deluxe and top double rooms which was very clean and... More

The staff in this hotel are very well mannered and cannot do enough for you. The room we had was a basic double but bed was spacious and comfortable and the toiletries in bathroom were lovely. The hotel itself sits on the river and has a lovely view of the old town.

staying in sacher was an experince, you can feel the originality in everything. the furniture, the building, the room keys and the reception staff. I loved staying there and our view from room was perfect just to set and watch the river and the bridge. SUPER clean and well designed hotel. we literally loved everything there.

The hotel is placed very near the bridge that leads to the old city center, perfect for walks in the old city and Mirabell Gardens. At night the hotel cafe and bar offers great service and views of the city and Salzach river. Our room was a standard double, not very big room, but well equipped with good air con.... More

After picking up our car at the BMW Welt, we drove to the Sacher Salzburg. Upon arrival the concierge was most helpful. Mr. Gerhard Reinisch did all he could to welcome us. We were escorted to a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the most beautiful city of Salzburg. The restaurants and breakfast buffet were excellent. We could walk to... More

The Sacher is a hotel done properly with excellent service and a level of attention to detail you don't often find any longer. From the welcome we received, the helpfulness of the concierge and the wait staff in the bar, the Sacher made no missteps. The location is a pedestrian bridge away from the Old Town on the other side... More

A boutique hostelry built thanks to a tart, quite a famous one. Set on the south side of the river in center city, the interior is nothing short of gorgeous. Service is par excellence and the ambience is grandiose. Salzburg's alpine motif is beautiful.

We were not disappointed. Lovely hotel fantastic coffee and cake! Loved reading about the cake. Very good service. Hotel also very welcoming and homely. We will return and stay next time instead of dropping in to try the Sacher torte. Perfect location for a stay in Salzburg.
