My husband I stayed here for a weekend break whilst visiting the Christmas Fayre in December. For a chain hotel we found it very welcoming with exceptionally clean rooms and a great selection of items on the breakfast menu. Although a short walk from the centre we found it more than adequate as a base to explore the area. More

Very good hotel ,but you are a good 15 minutes walk to the centre not that it bothered me for there are some lovely places to stop and stare including Mirebell gardens on the way to the centre .
