I came with my sister to spend vacation in Salzburg and we've stayed a week in the bergland hotel. We found it a great one very cosy actually and less than 10 minutes walk to the old town and to Linzergasse the ancient shopping area . The staff is fantastic very helpful even for tours ,restaurants where the best place... More

Stayed in July for 2 nights at a 145€ per night rate. I understand that Salzburg can be an expensive city, but we considered this hotel to have a poor value for money. No amenities on the first night, and in the second they just put a simple soap bar. Having ONE boiled egg in the breakfast was an additional... More

First of all, this hotel is really close to the old city area - a walk of maximum 10 min. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is big, clean and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast is more than satisfactory. Also, the hotel has a parking area, which is very convenient since I took a rental car from... More

We stayed in Salzburg for three days and this was a great base. Easy walk to both the new and old parts of the city, comfortable, clean and well decorated rooms, great value for money. There's even an outdoor terrace which is a nice place to sit and relax. Breakfast was also very good. The staff are extremely helpful; we... More

This review is the same review given to Bergland Hotel, Salzburg, which both of the TA pages are for the same place. Me and my wife like to travel and explore touristic places and have had many city trips all around the Europe. I can easily say that this was the best hotel and hotel room we have ever stayed... Excellent place to enjoy Salzburg. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are modern, clean and have a very trendy decoration. The view from the room everything was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of breads, fruit, cheeses and ham. The is also a free of charge parking space close by. The hotel staff were polite and helpful.... More

On our trip to the Salzburg Christmas Markets we found the Bergland to be a really cosy, family owned hotel in a quiet street 10-15 mins walk from the Old Town. We were given a large and spotlessly clean room with all the facilities we required for our 2 night/3 day stay. A substantial Austrian buffet breakfast is included in... More

We stayed here for two nights and explored the area while we were in salzburg. Loved Salzburg and the hotel. Unfortunately I was very sick when we arrived so my wife had to look around the hotel and explore without me. She played the hotel piano for awhile and acquired quite an audience, that was kind of neat. I really... More

We stayed 2 nights here in October. I chose it for its good prices in an expensive city and a good location. We caught the bus from the train station, but as it was raining on our morning of departure the hotel rang us a taxi, which was a very reasonable price. There is also parking out front. Our room...
