This is the worst hotel I've ever booked online. We were deceived by Hotwire that this hotel was a 4 star property. While European hotels are generally a star rating lower than what you would expect of a hotel in the United States, this hotel should have been listed at no more than a 2 star property. The receptionist sent... More

This is a good, basic, business hotel. Not fancy, but clean and well-located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great - just a five minute walk through the tunnel and you're in Old Town Salzburg. Breakfast was fine. My only complaint was that the wifi kept going off. The front desk staff did their best to... More

I don't usually (if ever) give a 1-star rating but this hotel gets it. The room itself was adequate however smelt a bit musty and the location is pretty handy to downtown - just on the other side of the tunnel. The problem was the rude hotel staff both on check in and check out. We requested a carpark during... More

Small stuffy room off a scruffy corridor, in need of refurbishment. Good location as within 15 minutes walk you can be supping mulled wine in the old town Christmas market. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel (20-30 mins depending on traffic). OK for a short stay if you don't intend to spend time in the room. I would... More

The hotel is well located, walking through the tunnel to reach the center in five minutesThe hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast was good. Our room overlooked a busy street, but we did not mind.Position is very good if you want to explore Salzburg, which is very nice. The city is beautiful with its small streets, a fortress... 3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2014

The hotel is located just outside (5 mins walking) the historic downtown. Unfortunately when we booked everything in the city was already full. The service from beginning to end was only average, but the service at breakfast was downright poor, and we had to ask for everything from water, to clean glasses, replacements for the buffet food, etc. It's a... This was a special trip for my sisters birthday and we were a little disappointed on first seeing this hotel as it looked rather tired from the outside. No help with our cases and no ramp, which was difficult getting the cases up the steps, particularly for older people. The rooms were small, and very noisy at the front of... More

Well this was one of those hotels you get online and it looks MUCH nicer than it actually is... We pushed the twin beds together to gain a tad bit more space but had to go out of the room to even change our minds. LOL Salzburg is expensive but beautiful with lots of local colors and people walking around... More

The location of the hotel is its strong point. A very short walk to the old city. The rooms are old and very basic. The bathrooms need to be upgraded. It's an average hotel in a good location. If you are simply looking for a place to sleep at night, this hotel is adequate.

Very old but very clean. NO AIRCONDITIONING. Staff was very helpful but seemed overworked. Hotel is in two buildings which was somewhat inconvenient to cart luggage across busy street. Pay for use parking was half a block down the street in garage, again quite inconvenient. That said, the location is in easy walking distance of old town Salzburg. We walked... More
