We visited Salzburg and have chosen this hotel as we wanted to stay close to the city. Within a few minutes we reached the city center and had access to all sights. The hotel has a perfect location and can be reached by car (parking at the hotel) and by bus (from the train station directely) which is very comforable.... More

In the downtown of Salzburg. Excellent location, main tourist attactions in walking distance range. Safe in the night times. Limited food choices. Breakfast is OK. Tariff is very reasonable considering strategic location and tourist place. Value for Money.

We had the worst service experience I have ever had at any hotel anywhere in the world of any class. The arrogance of the staff was unparalleled, basically telling me it was my fault for not bringing a problem they caused to their attention earlier. At 27 square meters, you'll find that this is the smallest junior suit outside of... More

We spent four nights here over New Year in room 309 in the annex across the road from the main hotel building. I can't speak for the main hotel bedrooms but we found the annex very good.... It was clean, secure and comfortable. I suspect the annex was actually another hotel possibly bought over by the Neutor as it has... More

The only thing this place has going for it is its closeness to town. It's a worn out, basic two star hotel on a very noisy road. Don't even consider staying here in summer as there's no a/c and you won't sleep for traffic noise. The breakfast is basic, the staff are brusque and the communal parts are hideously decorated.... Not only was this hotel dirty. stingy, and outdated, it was not secure. We were given a room in the annex. There was never an attendant at the desk. Furthermore, there were no smoke detectors in the hotel rooms. Only one stair well was marked. No Emergency exit. There were no visible fire extinguishers or sprinklers. BEWARE!

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the tourist section of Salzburg. You need to walk through the tunnel to get there. Our room was in the building accross the street (which was interesting). We got a corner room which had some extra space. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. I would recommend... More

Hotel makes good impresion when you come in the lobby. Very friendly staff, nice looking lobby. Receptionist in jeans check our reservation, give us two keys. We have ordered two double rooms. He sent us accross of the road to the building which is a other part of the hotel. We found out that one of the room was a... More

There were two good things about this hotel: the location (especially if you come for the Salzburg Festival - the Festspielhaus is a 3-minute walk) and breakfast. Everything else was subpar. It baffles me that this hotel has four stars. Rooms need thorough renovation. Unfortunately we were given rooms facing the street - very noisy and difficult to sleep at... More

Very bad experiences there, Stay away from this Hotel... We stayed there for one day and it was a nightmare. I woke up 3 am in the morning with a bug crawled into my left ear and bit me. Actually, no hotel staff in the building we stayed. We had to go another building across the street to report the... More
