We loved this hotel. Friendly boutique service. Large room with very good size sofa bed for children. Breakfast was amazing. Free bike hire including kids bikes. Only downside was no a/c, but I guess they don't need it often. Beautiful garden area. We didn't try the spa but it looked inviting. Would be a perfect romantic getaway or girls weekend.

this hotel is in the perfect location - about a 10 minute walk into the Old Town section. The location is generally quiet at night, unless there are loud people on the street late at night and your room faces the street.....which ours did. The parking is on-site which we liked. We had a Superior Double which was a little... More

We stayed 3 nights in June and our expectations about this well- reviewed hotel were all met. The hotel has a lovely garden where you can also have breakfast at, and the organic breakfast spread is yummy. ( the apricot jam which they retail was yummy and the fried eggs were perfectly done) Rooms were big, clean and modern (... More

A great place to stay if you wish to see Salzburg, but do not want to stay with all the tour buses and that nonsense. Only a short walk from all the action. They also have nice bicycles if you want to borrow those for a spin.

From our check-in through to our leaving every member of staff who we talked with (both at reception and breakfast room/bar) were extremely courteous, promptly responsive, helpful and patient. We expressed a preference for a double room in the Villa Auersperg when we booked. This helpful feel was reinforced by small things like an information folder placed on the breakfast... More

We stayed for four of the rainiest days I have ever experienced so I cannot comment on the garden or roof terrace. We had a de luxe room overlooking the garden, it was beautiful, very comfortable beds, excellent bathroom, seating area and walk in wardrobe. The rooftop sauna/solarium is lovely and very relaxing to use on the evening. You can... More

Hotel Auersperg's location, while not directly in Old Town, made our stay very relaxing. Within a 10-minute walk you're in the heart of New Town and within 20 minutes you're in Old Town. Hotel Auersperg has a spa, massage, free WiFi, free bicycles. Dogs are welcome. Don't miss the beautiful and relaxing courtyard. You are a 5-minute taxi ride to... More

Two nights in beautiful Salzburg and the Auersperg was absolutely brilliant in making our short stay so enjoyable. The basics are very good indeed. Location within walking distance of the sights of the Old Town and shopping and restaurants in the New Town. Building is handsome, rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern, secure parking is much appreciated. Breakfast set-up;... More

Excellent hotel with great little cafe and the breakfast is amazing. Local organic produce. Huge range. Rooms were very nice. Great location. Staff very helpful and knowledgable. Steam room/ sauna area looked lovely but no time to use it unfortunately.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was very nice (loved the big fan during the heat wave, much better than air conditioning), the breakfast was phenomenal, and their garden, where you can relax and enjoy breakfast or a drink, is perfect! Excellent hotel!
