We spent three days here for Christmas in 2014, and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel is family run, and the staff is very helpful and warm. Every email I sent was addressed and kindly responded to by the concierge and reception. They helped us plan all of our meals and activities. Per our request, they placed a... More

We have spent Christmas in many places and this was without question the best! Had a wonderful room overlooking the old city and on Christmas eve the hotel had a tree lighting with music and gifts for the guests followed by a 5 course dinner. As a family run hotel, every thing is very well looked after and the service... More

Beautiful old hotel but they don't provide any coffee in the room - not even a kettle to boil water! So they make you PAY for hot water brought to the room! Unbelievable. I've stayed in 30 different counties and this is the first time that hot water/coffee was not provided. On top of that, the wifi is terrible.

This hotel is supposed to be 5 star.... No way is it! Good photoshopping on their website. Looked very grand but definitely wasn't The room were very small and floor creaked on every movement you made. DO NOT bother doing Christmas Dinner the food was disgusting and over priced no Christmas ambience felt like you are sitting in a morgue.... More

This is the place to stay in Salzburg. The superior double room 374 was excellent. Great view towards the city. Breakfast was a treat with sparkling wine on the buffet and the service was excellent. Only negatives were the room service menu which was limited and the in-room safe which had a physical key and was barely large enough to... More

We have recently returned from a weekend at the Hotel Bristol, and I can honestly not fault the hotel. It is a lovely grand hotel in a lovely spot across from Mozart's house in Salzburg. The hotel has an elegance about it that a lot of newer hotels don't have. There are beautiful chandeliers and marble everywhere...our room even had... More

This isn't the first time we have stayed at this hotel but to be honest I'd forgotten how wonderful it was. The hotel has a cosy independent family run feel about it which makes it all the better. The rooms are fantastic, amazingly quiet cleaned daily with a turn down service in the evening. The breakfast room is superb with... More

We have just stayed at the Bristol Hotel Salzburg. It was in an excellent location close to the Christmas market, shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would stay there again. The breakfast had plenty of choice and we had dinner one evening in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

The Bristol has a proud heritage and lives up to that. It has a wonderful location opposite the Mozart's main residence and nearby to charming shopping areas as well as being easily accessible to the old town centre. The rooms are almost ample but a wardrobe with a curtain for a door is a bit down-market. Overall, the place has... More
