My lovely room would have been enough to make me enjoy my stay in Salzburg for the Festival. But the staff of the Bristol made the experience one of the best I have had as a woman traveling alone. They could not have been more gracious and helpful.

Five years in a row I have been coming here. The Bristol is a reliable, high quality hotel with lots of old European charm. It benefits from family ownership which is committed to uphold these values. In Salzburg, I would stay nowhere else. Well done!

This was probably our biggest hotel room of the trip and we got a very good rate considering the class of the hotel. It is located near tourist attractions like the Hofburg gardens and Mozart Museum, but not in the old city. You can walk across the river (which is nice), but in terms of restaurants, you definitely didn't feel... More

This hotel was fantastic, boutique and cosy , we loved it , the service was great the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was very well place and didn't feel like a corporate hotel where all the rooms looked the same , the rooms where in keeping with the town

This hotel has a great location- across the street from Mozart's house, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the Mirabell Palace/Gardens or St. Sebastian's Cemetery in the other direction. The cathedral and Residenz are about a 15 minute walk. The staff- from the doorman/bellman to reception and concierge- were all wonderful; the doorman was especially nice to provide us... More

Even though our double superior room on the third floor without a view or balcony was pricey (395 Euro each night) we loved our stay. It was a short taxi ride to and from the train station ($7.50 Euro) and the hotel location was ideal for touring Salzburg by foot. The hotel is right next to the Mirabell gardens and... More

This hotel did such a lovely job mixing the old charm of its building with modern amenities. We very much enjoyed our stay & the breakfasts each morning. A nice variety of choices to eat. The location is spectacular right by a bridge on the river. We walked everywhere! The concierge gave perfect recommendations also. Would stay here again in... More

The hotel looks beautiful from outside and has a great location. Everything in the hotel including the lobby, rooms, hallways, furniture and decorations symbolized old style luxury. Loved the breakfast and the restaurant ambiance. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated and we even got Mozart chocolates as welcome gift. There are only two things that I was not... More

The Bristol Hotel is a beautiful building, centrally located on the east side of the river walking distance to the old part of town, and is everything one would ever want in a hotel, if you can afford this price range. The lobby is lovely, the staff is welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and... More

We were very pleased with our recent three night stay at the Hotel Bristol. Upon checking in, we were escorted to our room by two employees and immediately felt welcomed. Our room was the smallest standard on the 4th floor, yet more than enough space for us. The daily breakfast offering was outstanding! The hotel is located a short walk... More
