It brought me back on time, the luxurious hallways, old style yet elegant decor and furniture, very friendly staff. Their breakfast was normal, and I didn't get the chance to order from the room service. It is located in the new town, minutes away from the old town, u can go everywhere by walking or a bicycle .. It is... More

My husband and I stayed at the Bristol for three nights in July 2015. We stayed in room 100. The Bristol is one of the last privately owned hotels in Salzburg. I like that fact. Location: Phenomenal. In walking distance of everything essential- Old Town, fort, bridges over the Salzach River, restaurants, and bars. It is also about half a... More

The hotel is kinda old, but the location is perfect. Mozart house just the opposite (walking distance). For those SOM fans, this where the kids and the captain stayed during the shootings. Fraulein Maria stayed in Sacher (dunno why). Overall a good hotel but somehow the hotel staff is not that informative, he kept telling us to take taxis?

Located right next to Mirabell gardens which is nice to stroll around early in the morning and at night. Salzburg itself is quite small so it doesn't matter that the hotel is not right in the middle of the Alstadt. Room was nicely presented and I think they cleaned it twice a day! Most of the other guests seemed to... More

This is one of the two 5 star hotels in Salzburg. It is reputed to be a hotel patronised by royalties. However, although the owners have tried to refurbish and modernise the hotel without spoiling its history, there is certainly room for improvement. This hotel is similar to the Royal Crescent hotel in Bath, England. This hotel is in a... More

We were staying in Salzburg for one night on the way to a stay in the Swiss Mountains and for one night on the way back. As I couldn't decide between the Hotel Bristol and the Hotel Sacher I booked one night in each. The Hotel Bristol was my choice for the first night. We thought we would spent more... More

We stay at this hotel for 4 nights, it was our first visit to Saltzburg. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by helpful friendly staff. Our room was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderfully presented and delicious. The location is superb, just a few minutes walk from all the main attractions. I just can't speak highly enough about our... More

I love this hotel! After a long drive from Lucerne to Salzburg, were were welcomed by the desk clerk who quickly checked us in. Then, much to our surprise, the gentlemen personally took us up to our room and asked if the room was satisfactory. I can't even remember the last time we had such personal service at any hotel!... The Hotel Bristol lives up to every expectation. Although our room was Standard, and a bit small, it was beautiful with an elegant and generous bathroom. From our window we had just a tiny view of the Mirabelle gardens. Other, pricier, rooms have balconies and lovely views of the old town. The entire feeling is one of charm and elegance.... More
