This is not a 4 star hotel. There, I said it. That's not to say its a bad hotel. There are lots of good things about it, but I think expectations are what let's the hotel down, rather than its standards. Hotel Mozart has much more of a guest house feel, than a hotel. It is an old building, traditionally... More

This hotel is conveniently located within a 10 minute walking distance to the historic city center. Our hotel room was cozy, comfortable and immaculately clean. The front desk staff was always attentive and ready to answer any questions we may have had. Bruno warmly greeted us upon our arrival and provided everything we could need to start our visit of... This is more than a year late (Dec 2013), but still worth saying this was an excellent hotel. We spent Christmas exploring Salzburg so it was great to be in walking distance of everything. A good breakfast, but 2 things stand out in my memory for the staff: The first is that we booked several months earlier for an agreed... More

Stayed here just before Christmas. It was a birthday celebration for myself, my husband, our 2 children & their respective partners. In the lounge was a beautiful Christmas tree which looked lovely. All the staff were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much. We had a large room on the 5th floor which was very comfortable & had a view of... More

We arrived late in the night in the rain after a full day on trains, missing our connection, and very tired! The front desk clerk would not give us directions to a restaurant we had learned about on the train from an Austrian so we were a bit concerned. He pretty much said it was a competitor to one that... A lovely boutique hotel close to all amenities in Salzburg. The rooms were clean and well equipped and the Tyrolean ambience was enhanced by the very friendly and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them especially the very likeable Rene who was always keen to help, and whose 'funny' coffees were a great way to finish the day... More

Very small rooms ,very old bed ,ı believe they did not renew the beds since 10 years . We had 2 double and 1 single rooms ,all had the same old beds. Bath rooms and showers were terrible . Service was rude if any ! The only good thing was their breakfast .

I had a very hard time choosing a hotel in Salzburg that was in the price range I wanted to pay and still had decent reviews. I admit I was skeptical about this selection - until we stayed here! The moment we arrived, Rene greeted us outside and took us inside to check in and give us some information about... More

When we walked in the door we were greeted by the owner Aurthur and his daughter. They were super friendly and checked us in and answered all of the questions we had. Hotel was super clean and within walking distance to shopping and resteraunts. Bruno was also very helpful and helped us program our GPS in our rental car. WIFI... More

Although there were a few shortcomings, we were very happy with this hotel. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful and our room was quite large and well kept. Although our room was on the street, it was very quite. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the tourist attractions. The downsides including no wifi in rooms... More
