Friendly, helpful staff, great location in beautiful quiet residential area within walking distance to Old Town and shopping. Fantastic italian restaurant around the corner with homemade pastas, Pasta E Vino, must go! Be sure to ask for anti pasta. Room nice size, very clean, breakfast wonderful buffet with fresh fruit, homemade breads, etc. Had a great view of mountains.

We spent 4 days at the Mozart in July and loved it. Comfortable beds, clean room, good breakfast and situated in the beautiful tree lined Franz-Josef Strasse. Only a short walk to the old Town and the Mirabell Palace and Gardens. There was a supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Only minuets from the main train station,... More

Wouldn't be my choice for a prolonged stay but for one night this was ideal. The room was a bit pokey although, looking at the plan, I think we had one of the smaller ones. It was clean, as was the (good sized) bathroom. The weather was very hot but although there was no a/c, the blinds on the outside... More

This beautiful hotel is an oasis, just a short walk from the craziness that today is the old district of Salzburg. On stately and tree-lined Franz-Josef Strasse, it feels as if it were in a private park; traffic was barely noticeable, and the sounds of the city were always subdued and never intrusive. The room was airy and light, with... More

The hotel is at a walkable distance from the railway station. The staff was friendly and service minded. There are nicely decorated rooms at the bottom floor for breakfast. The buffet was the best on our alpine trip even including herring and pastry. From the loudspeakers we could here Mozart (?) playing one of his concertos. Our room was big... More

Our room for two was very small, there were no smoke detectors or sprinkler valves to be seen. Asked if another larger room was available and told they could give me a triple room "if it would make me happy" (in a very condescending tone). Nothing hot to eat for breakfast. A couple of the guys on reception were nice... More

We arrived at Salzburg and found our hotel very central to the township. The service we received was impeccable and our room was beautiful. We went down to breakfast in the morning and found the most amazing array of foods to choose from. We enjoyed our breakfast to beautiful music in the background. A very nice start to the day.... Hotel Mozart is a short walk from all main attractions in Salzburg. Rooms are simply decorated, but are a very good size and very clean. All staff very friendly and helpful - ask for their recommended restaurant guide. There was good choice for breakfast, nice food and good value. Can thoroughly recommend.

Stayed two nights in early June as part of a transit visit to Salzburg. What a wonderful well priced hotel! A bit out of the way but still an easy walk to the old town and to the railway station. A big clean room with a balcony, and very well appointed and quiet. The excellence of the staff was a... More

I had a great time staying at Hotel Mozart. The location was great, and its reception staff was excellent. Rene Lenuck was very helpful, and he was willing to answer any questions from me and other guests. He provided us with great information about Salzburg (e.g., restaurants, sightseeing places) and nearby areas. He even helped me rebook a hotel room... More
