The location was a little bit of a walk from old town Salzburg (10-15 min), but it was a pretty & nice walk! We crossed the bridge to walk to Salzburg every evening for dinner & strolling through the beautiful streets, but the side of the river the hotel is located on has plenty to see as well. The staff... This is not a 5 star hotel so there are few "amenities". However, it is in a great location (a quiet neighbourhood away from the city centre but with everything still within easy walking distance), our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff (the excellent Rene and Bruno in particular) were fantastic. We'd certainly go back.

This hotel was the most roomy that we stayed in on this trip. I booked online and requested a room with a view and we got the best room in the hotel. We felt like royalty! It was a ten minute walk to the city center and the concierges in the front were so helpful! No complaints!

Very friendly service. But the room as well as bathrooms were a tad cramped and small . Our bathroom and loo were seperate which was really convenient. The staff were very helpful and guided us to get to the sights. We managed to do Untersberg and Helbrun castle on our own with their guidance. A short walk to Mirabel gardens and... More

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It has a great location. The staff is just fantastic and provide wonderful service. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Wifi is good. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The AC was great in August and the breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Stayed here for four nights at start of August. Although on the same size of town as the train station, it is about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. However, on leaving, we took a local bus from close to the front of the hotel back to the train station and this worked better. It is also about a... More

More like a bed and breakfast, this hotel is small and simple but meets the basic needs. For 145 Euros, plus 30 Euros for an extra child bed, we stayed in a "triple room" for a total of 175 Euros/night. We were very pleased with the staff's top notch service and attentiveness. Rene and the other gentleman at the front... More

Quaint themed hotel. Easy Taxi ride to the hotel from the train station. Nice rooms - typical eurpoean sized, clean, appointed as expected. Poor wifi in rooms - but excellent in the lounge adjoining the lobby. Breakfast while basic was adequate. It was approx 5 minutes from town, no problem for us but some may find it just removed from... More

We stayed here during the festival so maybe the prices were on the high side, but I did find €145 a night for a small double room expensive for what we got. The location is just that little too far from town to put you off from popping back during the day. The rooms are basic, no a/c and very... More

We drove to Salzburg for literally 24 hours on our European tour - this hotel was situated in a quiet and pretty neighbourhood just at the beginning of the New Town and a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Mirabel gardens - river, old Town all within easy walking distance. Hotel had parking space which was perfect for us and... More
