My friend and I stayed two nights at this hotel in the train station area of Salzburg. The hotel is old fashion in decor but it does not feel old. We really enjoyed our stay here as the staff were accommodating to our questions and the room was comfortable. As a simple way of discussing the hotel, our highlights included... more

If you want to stay close to train station, this is a good choice. You can take a bus to old town, right in front of supermarket and small shopping center for locals. restaurant was excellent. Other 4 star hotels we stayed were very modern, so at first we thought "is this a 4 star hotel??", but overall it was... more

I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are great for a european hotel room. The beer garden is a perfect place to hang out in the evenings and I highly recommend the food in the restaurant was delicious. The spa on the top floor is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. It's about 10-15 min. walk to... more

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel over the easter weekend. While the weather was fantastic when it came to night with the air conditioning not working it was stiffling in the room and impossible to sleep. When I enquired at reception about the air conditioning system I was just told it was turned off.... more

I stayed here for a weekend during a 2-week business trip. I liked this hotel a lot. 1. Staff were, without exception, welcoming and helpful. 2. The room was large and comfortable, with an excellent bed (Austrians really know how to do beds and duvets) and an original Austrian feel with wooden floors etc. And at 90 euros per night,... more

Salzburg was the second destination for my husband and I on our Honeymoon. This is a wonderful Hotel! It was a 5 min walk from the train station, what more could you ask for? We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was fairly modern. Our room was really nice and very clean. It was small in typical European fashion but... more

A clean hotel with good facilities. Room was spacious and well appointed. Full spa/sauna complex. The location was ideal for the railway station, and whilst away from the old town, Salzburg is so small you are never more than 10 minutes walk away from any site. The restaurant is good - though I believe they are no longer organic (bio)... more

We happened upon this hotel and were very pleased with our one night stay. Bed, bathroom condition and room size were all WELL above average, especially in comparison to previous nights stay in Munich. The hotel is not far from the train and therefore location is not a hindrance for seeing Salzburg proper. The staff for breakfast and restaurant/biergarden was... more

We arrived with a printed email reservation from Achat, the hotel owner’s central booking system. However, the hotel system had no record of our booking. The surly man on reception was quite disgruntled at this and led us to feel we should have used a different technique to book. He grudgingly allocated us a room and gave us keys -... more

Both check-in and check-out were fast. The location is good, near the train station, and with many shops and snack bars in the surroundings. It is walking distance to Mirabell Gardens and there are buses to the center. The worst of the hotel is that there are stairs at the entrance and nobody to help with the luggage. We needed... more
