Me and my girlfriend stayed there in the summer 2012, and we had a great stay. The front desk is always nice and one of the most memorable experiences with the hotel. They were of assistance in booking tickets to shows etc. Breakfast is also recommended: Efficiently run, and brilliant start on a summer day to sit outside and enjoy... More

Very nice location within walking distance to main attractions and train station. Front desk was very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The room was ample sized and so was the bathroom. The bed was 2 singles pushed together to form a double but the sheets were smooth and the pillows soft. The hotel also has a... More

We were given a room on the ground floor...important safety tip: if this happens to you, ask for one on another floor. We were able to hear lots of other guests coming and going late into the night as the elevator was just down the hall. Additonally, on our last night, there was an angry woman in the room down... I stayed here last Christmas with my two kids age 10 and 7 years old. We booked family room, where they offered a room for 4 people with sofabed. The room looks good in the picture. When we actually there, the room indeed spacious for four people, but it was quite shabby, carpet was quite old, the bathroom reminded me... More

I have a few gripes (or important things) when I'm staying in a hotel: most importantly is a comfortable bed, which includes pillows. Second is room temperature/climate control/comfort. The third is light. This room had an OK bed, which was comfortable, especially by European standards (the pillows were not good). We had NO control of the temperature in our room... More

We stayed for just one night to visit the castle and the musical events going on in the area during the summerfest. The location is surprisingly close to most sites, easily walkable. Reception was cordial, if a little formal, but maps were immediately provided with no problem. The room was a decent size (there were 3 of us this time)... More

I stayed here for two nights on the bussines trip. The room was nice, bathroom as well, however my window was in direction to the main railway station, so there was some noise even in the night. Breakfast was sufficient, staff helpful. Thel location is great. Near the main railway station and in the walking distance to the city center.... More

Price and location was the advantages of this hotel. However, I don not like several thing about it. It does not up to high standard 4 stars hotel. it is average 4 stars or very good 3 stars hotel. furniture cheap and old even-though it was clean.

Stayed for 3 nights, just a short summary: Pros.: • Location: It is 5m walk from the bus / main rail station (which you will also find a good supermarket in the station); no need to take a taxi even with hand luggage, and it is a short walk to the famous Mirabelle Gardens. • Room: It is a quiet,... We stayed here for two nighs. It is walking distance to the main Salzburg train station, Salzburg Bahnhof. The bathroom was recently renovated and very nice. We had a double, which meant two twin sized beds on opposite sides of the room (some European rooms have twin size beds, but next to each other). The room was a bit cramped... More
