We were passing through Salzburg on our way to Vienna and stayed here for just one night, but would have happily stayed longer. When we arrived, after a long drive, the manager greeted us with real enthusiasm, helped us get settled, then advised us we'll on how to make the most of our very short stay. The room was very... Good value for the money. A plainly "decorated" room. Quiet enough and big enough but certainly not spacious. A bit of smell from the restaurant kitchen (perhaps, or was the hotel just a bit old?). On the second floor. Yes, no lift. On a bus route and 10 minutes by bus to the Salzburg city center. Very convenient the last... More

This hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Salzburg Old Town but has a very convenient bus right outside the front door. Rooms were spacious and our room had a lounge and modern ensuite. Our room was on the third floor, there is no lift but this wasn't a problem with our luggage. Breakfasts were great and we had dinner... More

I chose a room on the second floor as I read there was no lift but the stairs are actually manageable. The breakfast was a great selection, I actually enjoyed the muesli. Staff was very helpful with directions or suggestions for your trip (when asked). They can also arrange tours for you if you wish. The bus stops just outside... More

Room on the fourth floor-- with no elevator. Rooms were pretty bare- but clean. Towels were rough. The hotel is on the bus route, but not within walking distance of anything interesting. Next time we will look for a spot closer to the tourist sites.

The staff were attentive and the room spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would advise purchasing the Salzburg Pass, as it allows you unlimited access to all transport within the city for 24, 48 or 72 hours, incredibly cheap when you consider we only paid €36 for the 72 Pass and we used the trams/buses nonstop. There is fantastic WiFi and... More

This is a nice hotel, with a good sized clean room. The hotel staff are friendly, and the food is good. A couple of things to know though, is this is on the edge of the center of the city. This is about a 40 mins brisk walk to the center, and about 15 mins to the train station. The... More

We stayed 3 nights on a visit to discover Salzburg. Although some 2 KM from the town centre it was a 10 minute journey by bus from outside the hotel to town. If you buy a Salzburg Card all buses are free, and the vast majority of places to visit are also free. A 2 day card was 35 Euros... More

We stayed only one night at this property while passing through Salzburg. What a pleasant surprise. The room was not large, but not small and the bed was wonderful. Everything was clean and kept up. We could not have dinner because the dining room was booked so get your reservation in early. Breakfast was average but in a beautiful breakfast... More
