This hotel is masked as a four star however i fail to understand how it made it to this level. It is outside the old city (15-20min on foot) and situated in a commercial area which offers little in the evening. Location is too far from city, not a four star hotel as claimed to basic. The Mercure Salzburg is located in Bayerhammerstrasse which by the standards of Salzburg is not that great a location to set up a hotel.
