Hotel is well located as we travelled by train. Despite other comments, we did walk into town,to the old city and up to the fortress for the concert and back. We are in our late 50's. This is a 15 story characterless modern building located within the commercial area surrounding the main train and bus terminal. There are apparently some interconnecting rooms for families, but despite booking several months ahead we were unable to secure one, and after the hotel rented our confirmed adjoining rooms to someone else we all had to bunk down in one... more

We stayed in June 2008. Location is excellent as it is across the train station. However, it is not within walking distance from the old city. Being right across from the train station is a blessing - we tumbled out from the train and immediately spotted the hotel across the road. This is an average hotel with standard facilities not quite near the city centre though.
