My partner and myself booked this hotel for 4 nights in the first week of June. We arrived at the airport and easily found a taxi and within 10 minutes were outside the hotel door. Its next to the river and right in the centre of the old city. In terms of location I don't believe you could do better;... more

Salzburg is a magical area, and the Radisson is a nice addition to the city. The hotel is in a building that dates back to the 1300's, and I understand that it was also used as an inn at certain times during the centuries. You cannot beat this location. On one side, you have the river and are close to... more

This is the perfect spot for a short vacation in Salzburg. Ideal location in the old town, many restaurants nearby. Old building, all rooms have antique furniture. You get the impression of living in the baroque era. Only disadvantage is the missing parking area but hotel offers valet parking. more

Firslty this is a genuine review. The Hotel is great - we were offered a free upgrade to a suite - danke Herr Pusch. This hotel is in the Altstadt or old town, it is extremely convenient for the tourist attractions here and for me the highlight a trip up to the Hohenstauzen Fortress( the funicular costs 10e per person)... more

Loved this hotel. We stayed here for a couple of nights prior to our Wedding. It was lovely. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The location was excellent. Unfortunately we discovered on our first night that there was a niteclub below the hotel (not belonging to) which created a lot of noise... more

I would like to stay in the Goldener Hirsch Hotel but it's fully booked. Me and my partner looked around and realise that other then Goldener Hirsch, this is the only 5 star hotel located in the heart of the shopping district. We drived from Wien to Salzburg and have some difficulties looking for the hotel, then realise that we... more

The attractions are to numerous to mention. Restaurants abound, outside coffee shoppees are excellent, and again friendly. This hotel in the heart of the shopping district,... more

Perfect spot in The Old Town and within walking distance to all the main attractions. We had a really nice buffet style breakfast each morning in the restaurant overlooking the beautiful Salz River. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was superb. The only slight minus is that our room overlooked the lanes so it was a bit dark but... more

Stayed here for four nights with my Mum in December 2007, and would recommend it. The hotel is the oldest Inn in the city and full of charm and character, and in a fabulous location. It has 49 rooms and 13 suites. We had a lovely room on the third floor overlooking Judengrasse, directly opposite the Salzburg Christmas Shop, which... more
