A one night stopover on a tour. Not much room for two people and two suitcases. No English speaking TV. Internet must be purchased. Buffet breakfast adequate but not special. The room had a serious musty smell and the A/C vent was encrusted with dust and/or mildew. Hotel is not as clean as it could be.

To call this "city" is a misnomer. It's about a twenty to twenty-five minute walk to the city proper and in Salzburg, it rains quite a lot. The rooms are pretty basic. Our room was one of the smallest we have ever stayed in in Europe. If you have more than one piece of luggage you won't have any space to walk or move about in the room as there isn't a closet for storage. Overall the room was well furnished and the bed was comfortable. Free parking was a welcome bonus.... More

You know what to expect when you book at Holiday Inn. But this one was special. The desk staff and everyone we met at the hotel was helpful and gave us wonderful support during our stay. We were helped with concert tickets, advice on where to eat and how to get around the City. Made our stay in Salzburg memorable.
