We spent one night on our way back from Italy. Overall, it is a pleasant hotel, by the lake, beautiful view of the Alps, good service, great restaurant. Villach center is only within a 20 min walk from the hotel. The only issue faced is that it got noisy at times - guests shouting at 4 am!

It is important to be aware of what this hotel is - it is a Germanic Spa, so is fairly basic, with large pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam bath areas, and lots of old naked Germans/Austrians. Very clean but does need upgrading. Excellent location for the view (unless it includes some of the older naked people who spend time outdoors on occasion) though not so great for access to town. Advertised wifi service did not work. Breakfast was good and fresh. We also had a good supper meal in the restaurant.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet place, great to have a nice walk. The building looks kind-a old and it's pretty simple, I personally didn't love the decoration, but the bedrooms are very comfortable and clean, and so is the bathroom. Our bedroom was on the third floor (second floor for Europeans) and had a balcony with... More
